If you want to do low sugar be very careful with the amount of fruit you are eating. Also - a scoop of protein powder in the smoothie makes it much more filling

I add large flakes oats & water to my smoothie, with yogurt & frozen fruit, 1/2 banana for sweetness.

I don’t know if Stevia is sold in the United Kingdom, my cousin swears by it. She said she can’t tell the difference between that and regular sugar She doesn’t like sweet n low or equal She said Stevia is an organic sweetener not like the other ones

The berries are good for low sugar but go easy on the bananas and pineapple as they are very sweet.

You can use more herbs instead of salt.

You do need iodized salt in your diet for thyroid health and electrolyte balance but cutting/rationing your sugar (dont eat artificial sweeteners-chemicals are worse for you than natural sugar) but smaller portions/less snacking/and protein-veg and you’ll be great. Just be judicious and you’ll be great!

If you want prefect porridge I use a cup and what ever you measure last you use two and a half liquid in a deep bowl no microwave full power min half remove stir return for another min half . Watch for last 20 sec if it starts to rise in bowl open door it will go down closedoor and keep watching I make mine this way but I use water and put milk in after it's ready . But I'm a wee Scottish granny enjoy. Look like you had fun in hall pond😁😁😁😁😂

Maybe you should try overnight oats in the fridge.There are many recipes are online. Be careful of the sugar in fruit. I also got myself off salt. Now I cannot eat anything with too much in. Good luck!

Layer your 44 g of oats in a jar or bowl with frozen fruit yogurt and a little honey if yogurt not sweet. Leave overnight in the fridge. You can warm in microwave or eat cold. I make a large one for the week and even eat it for desert after evening meal. You can mix biscotti spread with yogurt or peanut butter if you like but does add extra sugar. Yum.

Smoothie's can be very high in sugar.
