Just got dumped by someone I met through a mutual friend. The guy was super committed and consistent for 7 months. We had our first fight and he just stopped communicating, even though he always said communication was his number 1 priority. He dumped me on Messenger. Our mutual friend told me he's impulsive and tends to run away from uncomfortable situations. I guess he's just a coward...

Well, that has finally explained my ex-husband. We had a wonderful day and both seemed perfectly happy and then the next day he came hoem from work and broke it up. There was another woman on the scene that I was getting a hint of a suspicion about but after our perfect day I thought she was not a threat. Wrong! However, I think the good day was him testing us and then probaly still thinking about her. She lasted less than 12 months and he tried to come back to me but you can not turn back the clock - he made his choice.

This happened to me between me and my ex, Were pretty much cool as a couple, everything is great, we do communicate all the time.. But I just have to let him go, and after couple months of thinking about it he's just not the perfect fit for me, and he was actually shocked that I did break up with him, although he knows how much I love him but I just couldn't stand something about his personality that made me realize it's just not meant to be. It's all very complicated but I've stopped overthinking its interesting to hear your opinion though. I just feel like it was dragged for too long with me, 5 years-ldr-5000 miles away. It hurts but It's okay though, ultimately I have my own issues to work on I would advice girls to stop overthink and stop thinking about what they had/have in mind, it doesn't fucking matter. Every single person on the planet breaks up with someone else for a reason. I broke up many times because I felt smothered (most of the times that I broke up). Because I felt like my time was not well invested and I got nothing out of a relationship. Because I felt like I could not trust him. Because the guy always smelled bad. Because he sucked in bed. Because his personality was bland as hell. Etc etc etc. Call me superficial, but I am just like anyone else, man or woman: if you FEEL LIKE you are better off without someone than with them, you ditch them. You can never force yourself or anyone to feel attracted to someone else or to be happy with them.

Ive been in and out with my highschool friend for years and at first i had strong feelings for him but over time after all the nonsense breakups and his parents controlling his life and him being pathetic i just kinda lost it I don't feel it anymore I think I fell out of love with him but right now he's just something I have to make me happy until I find something better i still want to hang out with him cuz I don't have any friends and im bored as hell so I just dont have anything else I've always wanted something better and I can't tell him that even when I break up with him he always comes back I think he's just too depressed to move on

An he alwways respond "Thats something I need to think thats not a desicion I take in one day plus I'm really busy" and time pass and he never called me or text him. 3 times I went to his work to ask him the same question and the last time he asked me things like, where I was living? Did I move back to my home town? Did I drop out of college? Etc... and I told him he even tell me to call him amd text him to talk guess what? That same day I texted him and he never respond a month after he liked a picture I posted in social media after that he unfollowed me. I blocked him in all social even WhatsApp beacuse he never told me anything but do you want a boyfriend that never talks to you and never respond? Hell no no woman deserves that treatment. I talked to his mom to ask her if he get back with his ex (the mother of his one year baby) and she denied but she told that he has a lot of pressure with his work his daughter amd his education but I don't understand is not fair that doesn't even have 1 minute in a whole week even months to ask me how I am, to respond me or even breakup with me he just left me with those words. The next day after I talked to his mom he tried to access to my facebook account but he couldn't because I have a security password addition the regular password that he knows but you know he never called me texted me nothing. I don't know what truly happened.

Add in he dumped me via phone too with no explanation and hanging up. I woke up today and in a daze of just waking up that memory came to mind. After 27 years I remembered this now. Why? Because two years ago I tried for the third time to just reconcile and again he hung up. Never found out why. So, in life I tried three times and got shut down. He did feel like "home" but what kind of "home" obviously a toxic one. The ironic part of this was searching this for fun in the search bar after the realization and seeing your face Elliot which looks just-like-him minus the hair. I felt like punching the screen.
