Visiting Ellis Island has been on Lydia's bucket list since she was a kid. We had intended to go in 2012 but didn't have the time during that visit. Now, ten years later, we're finally going! Walking the halls and exploring the rooms of this incredible piece of our country's history was indescribable. We highly recommend it, especially the Hard Hat Tour.

The Hard Hat Tour was AMAZING! And I thank you for showing me more of it all over again! I'm so excited to see more, all over again when I can get there next! I too have been FASCINATED by Ellis Island for YEARS! And was SOOO excited to go!

I'd go back in a heartbeat!!! It seems that the hard hat tour is constantly changing based on what's safe/available, so I'd definitely do that again, too. I want to see it all! Thanks so much watching, and we hope you enjoyed it!

It's on my bucket list! Someone on my mom's side was kept in the hospital ward, but I don't remember what it for or who it was - think it might have been my greata great grandmother when she returned from a visit home to Austria Absolutely amazing idea to turn the individual illness wards (and that amazes me, that each contagious disease had their own ward) in to educational wings for each illness - and a dield trip to it should be required for all the NYC medical schools

It was such an incredible visit! If you're looking for family history, they have a whole section of the museum dedicated to finding your ancestors who came through. You should check it out when you go!

I lived in New York for a decade and never made it to Ellis island. Now that I live in the UK it’s on the top of my ny list😂. Great tour! Thanks for bringing us along!
