I love to go there. I’m checking out the dates of available for going to visit. I’m living in NYC for over 20 years and never had a chance to get there 😰 Thank you for your wonderful video as always. You are the hero of the NYC.

All my grandparents came here through Ellis island. They wound up in new haven Connecticut. One on a farm. The other in the city. Their dreams came true because they worked hard and raised a large family

My father and his family came thru Ellis Island in 1906 from Czechoslovakia. Dad was four years old. Grandma, grandpa, three uncles and two aunts of whom I never got to meet. They went to Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Thank you for this tour.

Thank you , so interesting , my family and I came to Canada 1955 and then 1960 came USA , our family name is on the wall of immigrants at Ellis Island 🙂

Actually, I’m going to be there today. I got the ferry tickets. Looks like the museum is free to go in but ferry is a $20 for a person. Thank you for giving me idea of Eli’s island 😅

The passport on the right at 16:32 is my great-grandmother's. We donated it to the Ellis Island Immigration Museum years ago.
