Elmer's that muthafuckin guy, no doubt about it. A decade from now or even right now, this guy's going to be brought up in arguments of who's the King of Detroit in the scene's whole history. He's definitely up there, and possibly deserves that title. I'd love to see him flip the script and do different styles, or different types of shit to get up, like some other writers did in the past, reaching out & really doing shit that drops jaws. I think that would solidify him, and I'd put that top crown on him in my opinion. Keep rockin' that fresh mode shit, Fud !!!

OH hell nah...that's not what I'm saying. That GRCC and Redbull shit is when you got free time, do a legal wall, or it's set-ups for art shows, or shit you do to make money in the future, that pleases regular people. What I'm sayin' is pushing the bar for writers. Like I remember seeing a Justo downtown in the 90's where he painted a piece on multiple pieces of paper, then wheat pasted it, or Fosik locking to fences metal shit, or Malt doing a piece where the fill-in was bottle beer labels he must've saved for months. Shit that might last a month if you're lucky, but it's for the writers. I think this guy could come up with shit noone has ever done or seen, but for writers and just pushes his legend status, and makes us give an "awwwww shit! you see that!?" type graffiti.

In Detroit....Elmer put in work for every writer who ever put work in the city will mention him in the top 3, in any order. In a city that pretty much started from the mid-90's with a ton of talented dudes that put in work, that speaks volumes. Dude paid dues. It's 2018 & I'll have respect for this fuck 'till I'm dead. Elmers a last of the Mohicans-type writer shit, and arguably the best the city ever seen. I talk so much shit on cats on KZfaq, it's a breath of fresh air to compliment someone with respect they deserve.

Detroit is the best place to write graffitti because the city is basically bankrupt and falling apart. Which means less money to erase graffitti.. and also cops have so many major crimes to deal with so stopping street art is not a priority
