What has become so under-appreciated in this talk of rockets and supersonic transport, is KZfaq. I mean i'm sitting in the Middle East, roaming the internet on a break from studying to exams. And in 48 minutes I can indulge knowledge far beyond measure of what anyone 20 years ago could dream of despite my economical situation. I can listen and learn from two amazing and inspiring young entrepreneurs, revolutionizing this world as we know it. And i could do that by the click of a button….

I remember when i saw this a few weeks ago everyone was talking about how different elon was this interview, he didn't stutter, or fidget and was so calm and relaxed talking to sal with eye contact

We literally pay off 30-40k dollar cars because we want the new shiny thing but complain about education. Also the price of education is inflated because the federal government subsidizes the cost so universities can charge whatever they want basically.

Musk isn't stuttering so much here as he usually does. Interesting. Also I get the nerdiest vibe from Sal; his posture, demeanor, and even manner of speaking is indicative of that. Super smart cool guys though, both of them are mavericks of science and engineering.

He stutters when he’s trying to find a simpler word to tell to a wider audience through stupid reporters, stupid interviewers and such. However, the man he is talking to,Sal Khan, is an well educated man so he doesn’t really need to dumb down his words. Khan Academy viewers are also educated.

I am completely fascinated, inspired and entertained everytime I watch him! He is so full of life and just makes me smile! Eating during the interview 😅 his whole personality just radiates! In school, I got so addicted to the math section in khan academy that I completed 2 extra grades above mine. I don't know why, but I literally started routinely doing it every day. Now, I'm a whole 2 grades above mine, and everything I'm learning currently is a piece of cake. Thank's khan.

I find it fascinating how Khan is so at awe with Musk even though Khan is such a genius as well. There can be a big difference between a man/woman who is a career CEO and a man/woman who is a founder and/or CEO. Elon Musk falls into the latter, and when you start to familiarize yourself with men and women who are both founders and ceo's of their companies you'll typically notice they're very similar to Elon Musk. eerily so, quite frankly.

***** Yep, same thing here I skipped classes and nearly dropped out. I knew the content, but I wasn't learning a thing. I hated it! They teach you the WHAT, not the WHY. Which skips the entire process of learning and just teaches you to memorize a bunch of random facts you won't be able to use in the real world.

+Dalton Root School is has to be average to teach all different kind of people. To become as an amazing person as Elon you have to find your own way an educate yourself in that narrow category.

It's 2019. SpaceX just presented Starship prototype, which promises to be fully reusable and capable of missions to orbit, Moon and Mars. Meanwhile another vehicle Dragon is about to take a test flight with a crew in November and soon after that take a crew to the International Space Station. Developing technology for the Mars mission while earning money with "casual" space missions... just like he said in the interview. Elon delivers)

Don't downplay yourself and all of your hard work in revolutionizing in the education system not only in the first world countries, but to the developing countries that do not have such privileged systems. The quality of your lessons and the variety of subjects excel most colleges and also some of the university level courses. AND KHANACADEMY IS FREAKIN FREE FOR EVERYONE. Elon Musk is doing an amazing job in optimizing his field of work and so are you.

Following Elon footprints is not that easy but watching his footprints and joining with him is Joy... Man this conversation is so cool... I loved it...! I personally love Ratan tata for what he did these many years The TCS, Air Vistara, Tata motors..etc not only in business he also supporting youth to building strong entrepreneurship... but after knowing that Elon donated $5M to khan academy the respect on him is increased... he didn't asked stake, he didn't do it for fame, he did it for us just to crack... - love elon

It's not everyday you see a future billionaire eating eight years ago while being interviewed during your current morning breakfast while he munches raw veggies years ago, listening to questions, giving spot on answers and I clean up my breakfast dishes today. Historically it's probably unique since I'm here now and Elon was there then.

I've used Khan Academy for so long lol at least 8 years. Hopefully it continues until my kids and theirs can use it as well. So awesome seeing Elon still doing what he's doing, even years ago. He seems super relaxed with you lol you definitely disarmed him :p awesome video!

33:41. Well that aged rather well...Elon has an iron focus and his predictions are very much on point. 14 years from this video was made, translates to 2028 for half of all cars sold to be electric. Now we are probably going to see 90% of all cars produced to be electric by then and Tesla will have a much higher marketshare than Elon ever planned. He was hoping to be a catalyst, not the biggest OEM by 2028. He hoped that VW, GM, and Ford would pull their weight, but they failed miserably and will end up bankrupt. Tesla failed in their role as a catalyst and quickly adapted and decided to pull the weight themselves to be true to their mission. Tesla along with a few Chinese car companies will rule the car production by 2028.

Can’t believe what he said 7 years ago which no one believed at that time and today in 2021 he delivered it most of it and become the wealthiest man on the planet. At 28:30 minutes love how he said to pay bills he needs to serve earth based needs and then Mars mission. He had planned all this 10 years ago and today he is delivering it and we can’t even plan tomorrow what to cook and eat and watching him in the lockdowns. Truly inspirational.

Normally I can only listen to Elon Musk for so long and then get upset because even though I think he is one of the most brilliant men of all time he gets nervous or stunted in his speaking abilities. This time however you did it, Elon was relaxed and informative and funny and just comfortable talking and I was totally engaged. Thank you for the interview and job well done!!!
