Can't let you go without ripping into Elon Musk. our boy yeah so or cyber cowboy. Jesus, I mean I don't even that that that's like too cool of a name you're pulling it we have a clip for this right. Elon for people that don't know, Elon Musk has publicly announced that he wants to buy Twitter for over 40 billion dollars and take it private. And independent analyses of the cash that he has on hand have shown that he does not have nearly enough money to do that right now. It is in transparent way for him to pump and dump the shares that he has purchased in twitter, but and it also gives him some sort of PR cachet with right-wingers who are mad at Twitter for banning Donald Trump for violating their terms of service, but here he is talking about how lies they really get his goat he's in favor of the truth

He talks like that a lot. I don’t support him at all but if you’re going to be consistent with that viewpoint you’d have to be ok with people criticizing Sam for a break in the fluidity of his sentences. We have so many less presumptive indicators to estimate someone’s intent.

If Elon Musk loves the truth so much he should have jumped in his "revolutionary" cyber truck during the unveiling and let someone have at it with a firearm to show just how bullet proof it was. He should build his Tesla loops for his own business compounds if they are so efficient. He should go everywhere riding in autonomous cars if "his" tech is so close to mass market. The guy constantly misrepresents the technology he owns in order to drive up investment to keep his ventures going, and here he is fucking pissing on us and telling us it's raining. Calling oneself a pathological truth teller is what the epitome of pathological liars would do.

@Phalanx167 Well SpaceX does launch more tonnage into orbit than the entire rest of the world combined, but I don't know about his other business so much so can't comment, and would agree after watching him on Ted and Babylon Bee that he is pretty sneaky and misleading - seems to be constantly playing both sides (right / left, Christian / non-religious) whilst claiming to be a straight shooter. And even many of his fans over the years joke about his personality - like he's building rockets so he can get back home and so on. He's def on a spectrum of some type, I was hoping he wasn't dangerous.

He said they had technology for self driving cars and it would be dumb to buy any other car because your Tesla would bring in money by going around as an automated taxi. Not only did he lie about having the tech, Tesla has dropped the Idea. He said electric freight trucks would have some crazy range by next year. That was 5 years ago. Didn't happen. He claimed he created a better more efficient battery. But it was the same kind of battery but slightly larger and just as efficient. He also likes to pretend he started Tesla and Ebay. He did not. He said the hyperloop was going to be easy. It was not. It will never work as proposed. It's just dumber and less efficient than a train. He said SpaceX would land a pod on mars by 2018. It's 2022 and they are not even close. He lied about the cost of solar roofs. He said multiple lies about different investments to serve his pump and dump schemes. I don't know a single project he didn't lie about.

He probably is a genius in some sense to get to where he is today, however not in the Einstein sense for sure. Roger Penrose is probably the best example of a living genius the world has today.

@@althepalno1164 that is my problem I still remember how difficult i recall first semester math which is in retrospect a freaking joke. Which is most likely the same when it comes to physics. All I have seen from musk is this wierd glorified depictions paired with his TV charisma. It is one thing to see the thoughts of Penrose or Hawkins and struggle to understand them but another when you get told all the time X is science smart without any proof.

@@MrPaksh Glorified depictions' I don't think I have actually seen this in videos, I tend to watch videos about SpaceX and their technologies rather than anything about him personally so it's perhaps less glamorising than other stuff out there. However I do see people that glorify Musk in comments recently and yes this actually horrifies me. In the comments for the video where he is interviewed by Babylon Bee, some of the commentators actually said that he is 'god like and they meant it in a good way. I could not believe what I was seeing. I'm not religious but that seems wrong to put someone on that kind of pedestal. However the most successful car company in the world is Tesla and SpaceX launch more rockets into space than everyone else in the world combined. Plus you gotta remember that just n recently is the 1st time it became profitable before hand it was due to government subsidiaries. And Space X has a very different mindset when it comes to launching into space all, but they have been innovative in how they go about it.

He's pathological alright, but it's not about the truth. And being pathological is not a positive attribute. And when one makes such a statement, it usually means they aren't. Didn't trump boast about his honesty recently. Too much money ruins a person, and Musk has too much money.

I don't know if it's too much money that causes the real problem for people like Trump or Musk, so much as their parents. Trump's family upbringing is well known (read Mary Trump's book for an insider's insight) and "Elon Musk described his childhood as "miserable," claiming that his dad was capable of carrying out "evil" deeds"... so perhaps it's their resulting mental states that make them so driven and self obsessed?

If someone can't maintain a marriage, then they are not able to do anything with a faithful "follow through" type of dedication & priority! His brain implant will be like any tool, used for good or not so good. It has apparently been shown to allow an ape or monkey that had it's spine severed to be able to walk again, it might eventually be able to help people with the most awful medical conditions like paralysis due to damaged nerves or even 'locked in syndrome'? But yes, there is also a lot to be concerned about.
