Elise Stefanik is the number three Republican in the House. She recently took to Twitter to tweet out hateful conspiracy theories like the white replacement theory. But she didn't stop there. She also called her Democratic opponents "pedo grifters".

It's one thing to say that the guy who has been associated with Republican politics his whole life. His father is a Republican operative who dines with republican presidents. Who advises sitting Republican presidents. Who has the highest-rated show on cable news? A conservative republican network. Almost indistinguishable as a media outlet for the republican party. It's one thing to say there is no analog to any violence that takes place from so-called leftists. Where they have that type of institutional support. But he's again it's not like he's a Republican elected official. It's not like he's Steve Scalise. Who is the number two republican? Who once walked into a room and said I'm David Duke without the luggage or baggage. and it's also not like he's the number three house republican Elise Stefanik who has replacement theory as well.
Well, don't we have to be fair to her? Right she must have an explanation for it. Maybe she didn't mean to explicitly promote replacement theory although…
Radical Democrats are planning their most aggressive move yet a permanent election insurrection. What is a permanent election insurrection? Now let's just be clear here so that you can just see I mean because I know some of this is a little bit remedial. But an election insurrection is when the election is over and you're attempting to overturn the results of an election. It's not getting more voters to vote in a certain way that's called an election. Their plan grants amnesty to 11 million illegal immigrants. Also, you should know the greatest one-time amnesty that was ever granted in this country's history was done by Ronald Reagan. Until Donald Trump became the most popular Republican president amongst republicans in the history of the country. Just to say, like you know, even the theory that granting amnesty would necessarily be contrary to the interests of the Republican Party or Democratic Party over Republicans. Now putting that aside there is sadly in my estimation no plans whatsoever to grant 11 million people amnesty. so that's also a lie. Grant amnesty to 11 million illegal immigrants will overthrow our current electorate now what is it what is it like these words are not then they are misusing these words. There is no way when you talk about adding people adding immigrants into this country that you're overthrowing an electorate. you can't overthrow an electorate.

When I was at Texas Christian University I had a sociology course where the professor (an Asian American male) defined "White Privilege" as not having more advantages in life, rather having fewer disadvantages/discriminations in life (so opposite of what it sounds like). Essentially, in our country's history, Caucasians (with few exceptions) have not faced the multiple generations oppression that most People Of Color (particularly African Americans) have faced, resulting in fewer disadvantages for them today. Sure, if you're a wealthy Caucasian, you are better off than all average/poor people in the U.S., but if you're a middle class Caucasian, you still have better chances to succeed in life because you don't have the systemic disadvantages that African, Asian, Hispanic, & Native Americans at a similar social class level have. Finally, when a non Caucasian does become successful in the U.S., it isn't because of "Reverse Discrimination" as some Caucasians argue, rather it's because they have managed to overcome the disadvantages that they faced that many of their Caucasian counterparts didn't have to face.

I think Democrats play into this because they openly say that they think demographic shifts will work in their favor even though that's largely false. Many republicans probably know this, but they are more dedicated to being racists. There is some kind of political calculus to this on their part. The bigotry is what excites their base and immigrants that lean conservative don't mind. It's strange, but the immigrants in my family who are conservative are just as opposed to immigration as the white people if not more so. They talk about how they are undeserving and going about coming to this country in the wrong way or something. All this somehow works out for republicans probably because democrats don't do much to win anybody's votes except for on the issues that their corporate backers are ok with. And unfortunately, the things they are allowed to do by their corporate backers aren't that popular.

Latinos are extremely religious and conservative. If the GOP was smart they would reach out to them and bring them into the fold but they're not doing that and they're essentially forcing them to vote democrat. It's a big misstep by the gop. Seriously, they're responsible for destroying their own party. Nobody else is destroying it but them. I don't understand why they're not doing that. There's also a very large section of black people that are conservative. But once again the GOP rejects them. It's just really stupid of them. And it is evidence that there's some serious racism in the GOP leadership.

The reason this all seems crazy to one group and hard grounded fact to another is a fee things, but primarily we're looking at 3 major players: Dunning-Kruger effect, emotional reasoning, and justification. Stefanik is unfortunately my representative. She represents upstate new york, and I can confirm this is Trump country. Not uncommon to see confederate flags, which makes no sense considering NY was in the union but logical reasoning is scarce around these parts. There's been a war going on over redistricting as the new redistricting map excluded an army base (Fort Drum) and a large city that relies on the base from her new district, which is undoubtedly where much of her votes come from. That one area is more populous than the rest of the district. Without that base there's a good chance she doesn't win re-election. A judge has thrown the new maps out stating they're unfairly advantageous to Democrats, but it remains to be seen what the districts will look like.

During 1 of my sociology courses at Texas Christian University I learned that the United States is currently about 60% Caucasian and 40% non Caucasian, given current birth and immigration rates, the country will become majority non Caucasian by 2045, and currently 7 states (including my state Texas) and Washington D.C. are majority non Caucasian, with over a dozen more at least 40% non Caucasian. Take this however you want.

No, not 'take this however you want.' Even the fact of your statistic is skewed by white supremacy (white/nonwhite being some sort of unquestioned, axiomatic binary). The only way to see this data as supporting a 'replacement' of white people is to buy into white supremacy. You could, alternatively, see it as the type of demographic shift natural to a pluralistic and diverse society. All this replacement narrative does is prey on the anxieties and fears of white supremacy.

I am about as progressive as it gets. Have subscribed to the belief that global humanity is not just a concept, but an enevitabile reality. I've lived about five years between Taiwan and mainland China. Another six between Denmark and Spain, and twenty-eight on Maui. In other words, I have been a minority white man, swarthy at that, for most of my life's demographic. I am writing this from a hospital bed on Maui. I was admitted four days ago, and as it turns out, was connected to the medical community here in some fairly profound and interesting ways from 1980 to 1994. So I was, up until the mid nineties, intimate with the demographic and social makeup of the community. I'm sixty-eight now, And a bit cranky on some levels. So what follows is likely skewed somewhat from a purely dispassionate observation. Regardless, this is my bubble take on then and now. 1980 to mid 90's, the medical community was made up of career professionals somewhat evenly divided between Asian Hawaiian born, middle class white, and local Hawaiian mixed blood. There was no real diaspora to speak of between the groups professionally. Everyone got along, we partied together, and generally shared common goals and desires. Class struggles were pretty much evenly divided throughout the professional titles. That is, ethnicities, titles, incomes, all seemed mixed in a way that you just didn't notice inequalities like other professions. During the period in question, this hospital was not part of the huge conglomerate it is today. Nursing staff for instance, was made up of local Hawaiian mixed blood, Japanese, Chinese, and Caucasian. With rare exception, all career lifer professionals. The atmosphere was everything you expect. Work hard, play hard. Today, it is owned by a corporate powerhouse. The nursing staff is predominately Philippino, Mexican and pacific islanders, with tight knit diaspora grouping. Financial survival is the prime concern, and the fun is gone. Now from the outside, a hard Right bigot sees that demographic shift and points to White Replacement. And practically speaking, they are correct. But instead of the evil communist Left-Wing baby eaters at the root of it, it's their people pulling the strings. The rest of us see this greedy fracking company doing everything in its power to reduce operating costs, lower the experience level and standards of entry level positions, and do what they do best. Privatize profits, and socialize losses. The Islands are little more than a wealthy Replacement experimentation themselves. It's horrific what's happened here over the decades. A house of cards in actual fact. And it's falling as we speak. Anyway, cheers and take care, stay safe, and don't drink the water.

We’ll see how 2022 goes, but my estimation is that Stefanik is right. The election system in the US has almost completely eroded in a very short time. Having “Democratically elected” politicians doesn’t mean very much when they’re all bought and paid for by someone else. And if Republicans don’t respect the election of a Democrat because he supports trans rights or whatever, why should Democrats respect the election of a Republican if the Republican’s goals are fascist? Either way, the democracy people actually need is in their workplace and their homes, not in the fantasy world of electoral politics.
