Hey George, big fan & Audio Guy here - @6:23 you talk about dealing with the room noise - simple solution is to get the foam you talk about, and gorilla glue it to 4x4' painting canvas and then hang it like a picture from with a simple finishing nail. Problem solved really cheap & doesn't mess up the walls - unless you can't hang a picture frame either. You could get more creative and make it look a lot nicer - but that's just a down and dirty simple method. Cheers brotha!

FYI I didn’t receive my 2nd Stimmy, and IRS website says it ain’t gonna happen & therefore I need to claim it as a credit on my taxes.......which, to me, indicates they’re actively seeking ways to prevent these payments from inflating the money supply. Money in hand is significantly more inflationary than money which merely off-setting tax payments (for those who owe), right?

That is the plan. Part of the Green New Deal. You can't afford your house? Momma government will take over your mortgage and you just pay rent to thr government. Then when they don't want you there they will kick your ass out and not only are you out the money you put into your house buy also homeless as well.

You can get sound proof panels that hang like a painting, rather than as a permanent fixture on the walls! Just a few will massively improve the audio!!

Correct, you can get fiber optic network easy in China main cities, however this is not the case in the US. Then it's also colliding with the big push to migrate everything to cloud. Content creation are getting more and more diversified and decentralized, people are getting used to consuming digital contents from individual content creators. Consuming medias doesn't create GDP, creating digital contents create GDP. How do people upload things to cloud when there's no upload bandwidth? Starlink upload speed is double to triple the bandwidth I have for my $125 monthly plan.

There's lots of demand up in AK during the salmon season when we go fishing for 2 months. There's only about 10k people in my district but there's not enough wifi for everyone. Only 3G coverage in Nak-Nek AK.

The internet service gap between population centers and rural areas is tremendous. We have 12 megs. Cable service ends about 1/2 mile from our house. The cable company will extend it to our house for $20k. If Musk's satellite system works, we'll be customers.

George, anyone can go into forbearance for any reason, whether or not they are in need. My bank offered it to us with a guarantee it wouldn't affect our credit scores. The forbearance number doesn't reflect actual issues. For many landlords it can be a year of "free" cash flow, and for many homeowners simply a free break. Some banks may report it, some may not. Even private banks are offering. There is a report about the quality of these loans in forbearance, where the majority is seen to be homes in the higher price range- the range mostly unaffected by the unemployment situation in the pandemic. This implies a great number of them are out of choice rather than need. A bonus, not a crisis. Not unlike PPP for many businesses, or.the stimmys many who don't need are receiving.

Haha ya up North over here in Chinada, i live in a small (aka less than 10k pop) town, in a cottage by the river/back of the wood. Internet choice: my phone, on which I have 40GB @ max speed on 4G (30-40 Mbs) and the rest at....wait for it....300kbs 🤣🤣 you'd think I was in Africa or something and all this for a beautiful low price of 175$/month (includes the phone line but still).

I work from my rv from time to time. You will be fine using Verizon lte network. I can help get you a decent setup if you want. It will be way better then starlink.

Are you kidding? Most of Starlink beta testers are reporting 150 - 450Mb at sub 20ms. I use VZW and they can deliver nowhere near that.

@@njspencer79 if you were a beta tester on the first LTE networks you would see more then that. I guess we’ll see when there are 1000s of users on starlink. My guess it will slow way down just like any satellite network.

@@feralandroid LTE does not have the ability of those speeds. 300 Mb is the theoretic limit. 150 - 200 is the real world one. I was an early LTE adopter. You are selling BS. We will see if the network can handle the influx. But let's state facts about the tech.

@@njspencer79 200-300mb is within the speeds you mentioned. Starlink itself advertises 50-150mb. I have yet to hear anyone get over 200, but I don't pay that close attention. I am not selling anything, I just design wireless systems for a living. I saw the same hype about exede when it came out and many of the early adopters loved it. But as they added users, the service started to suffer significantly. Hopefully starlink will just add 1 million satellites and it won't be an issue. We won't be able to see the stars anymore, but who needs those when you have internet. As far as the RV, I use a directional LTE booster that gets me usually 150mb dl and 30mb upload when the tower supports it. I have been places were the tower is connected to just 4 T1 lines, so the limit was 6mb. But I was still streaming in 720p. There is also power usage. My RV setup uses 10watts which is nice when you are boondocking off solar. The starlink uses 110 watts. If he's going to be running a generator that may or may not be an issue. This is ready to go right now and will support his travels nationwide. Starlink will take years to cover the nation.

You do need a cell signal. I live out in the sticks, and have to use voice over wifi. No cell signal out where I live.

a decent dynamic mic with a well designed audio interface would take care of a noisy room, this one is thinking, I have a condenser mic , it must be muted if the facilities are required during a live stream, unless i want everyone to hear what happens in there with full detail.
