Even though his hair was dyed dark brown, and he wore dark brown or jet black wigs in some scenes, Austin Butler is a natural blonde. Elvis Presley, who was known to have dark brown or jet black hair, was also a natural blonde

I think Austin Butler looks best with the darker hair. I think he is so much like the real Elvis that he may as well be another version of Elvis!

The Colonel is such a detestable character, so fair play to Tom Hanks for making us love to hate him.

I think he was a great manager. In the end, no one could get Elvis to stop taking the prescription pills he overloaded on.

Many negative things have been said about the Colonel, but he. devoted 24/7 to make Elvis a household name, back in the 50's and onward from 2024.... Sonny West wrote a wonderful book in which he defends all the negatives and rumors about the Colonel and sings his praises. I don't think Elvis would have become this successful without Parker's genius. How many managers would have let him go to Germany to serve for two years in the US Army. It was a genius move and songs were released during those two years in the US.
