Elvis was known for his moves and of coarse his voice , gorgeous looks , hair , being humble and his giving heart!!!! He started rock and roll but was humble till the day he passed. Fame never ever went to his head. He never wanted to be called king bc as he said which is true King is JESUS CHRIST!!! GOD Bless!!🙏🙏

This is the only part of the movie I remember, that was one that was on TV a lot when I was young. After he passed a friend of my moms that knew she was a big Elvis fan bought her a collection of Elvis records for Christmas one year and we all wore them out listening to them. I miss those days, but cherish the memories. Thanks

Two friends of mine who are into dance have told me this Elvis choreography was studied in dance class -- the sequencing and precision. They later discovered Presley was responsible for the dance sequence. This wasn't Broadway...this was an early rocker.

Elvis was and is The GOAT and This is what many consider as The First ever Music Video ever made Period or from a Film. Elvis was 60 Year's ahead of his time and would be killing the charts today with his Voice, Style, Looks, Dance and could Sing and did Sing almost every Genre of Music ever. The Best is I want People to know that when it cane to Bling Bling trust me Elvis was Sporting more Jewelry than a Jewelry Store and even had a personal Jeweler who would go to his house in Memphis Graceland can't believe I walked in the King's home in 2016 it's still unreal Man. When it comes to Bling baby Elvis Presley was also The KING of Jewelry and Cadillacs which this Generation thinks came from RAP Videos and Rapper's while Elvis Presley was buying and Sporting Cadillacs from the 1950s till the 1970s like they were going out of style Son as Elvis put Cadillacs on The Map. The 2nd Music Video by Queen Bohemian Rhapsody was done almost 20 Year's later. The King was ahead if his time. To the lady who said Elvis lost his 50s edge yes he did because he became Dangerous to Society as they had the Police Film his Shows where he couldn't even movie or he would be arrested and Radio Stations smashed his Records cuz he was making Teens Horny. Listen to how stupid that sounds especially in the World we live in and what they do and say now. The Government tried to put an end to ELVIS in 1958 by Drafting him into the Army. You really thing Elvis Presley would of got Drafted or sent or talked into going as it would of been good for his Career. It was to end him and than his Mother was either taking out slowly when Elvis had his crew with him and she Died just like Elvis Young. And when Elvis got out of the Army he probably got warned plus he was broken after losing his Mother. Those 2 Year's he spent Singing Gospel and Ballads and Church Song's he would Sing as a Child with his Mom and Dad. And thought he was done forgotten and boy was he wrong then and later in the 1960s, then the 1970s he thought or didn't know what he meant to his Fans and The World and 41 Year's later ELVIS Presley is still the biggest Name in the World. Nobody still has yet to match his Records sold $1Billion and The all his Movie's we're #1 Hits even as they became worst and Elvis hated them and he didn't want to make them he had to. He even talks in a 45 Minute interview where he would get so Sick before shooting in the Mid 1960s because of the Scripts he would get over 102° temperature and throw up and cold sweat's. He would work himself up into being so Sick after reading the Scripts and hearing it's gonna be a better one or good one with No Music which he always wished they wouldn't put or make him Sing in all his Movie's as he wanted to show he was a great Actor which he was. As you watch his first couple of Movie's and his last 2 A Western Charro was a badass Western and Elvis always had a Cool badass look and easily could of make and had a run in Western Movies like Clint Eastwood. And his last Movie "Change Of Habit" with Mary Tyler Moore where he's a Doctor and the Scene he has with her and Little Girl who's Autistic and it's the methods they used then but it's such a strong and powerful Performance that's about 10 minutes long and he deserved an Emmy, Oscar or whatever stupid Awards these critics and so called experts give to people in Film and Music. And I do Music I got an Album out called Street Tears by Big Kev which you just Google that and it will pop up and the Album cover is red and has on the left side a big Picture that's half my Face with my Elvis TCB Aviator's Glasses on. I'm on KZfaq where you can check out my Music Video for a Song off the Album called Rest In Peace which is Shot in a Cemetery and I a strong powerful Video and I would encourage people to check it out. It's about Pain Pills and people who are suffering from chronic Pain and have to rely on Pain Pills to just get out if bed and function. But it also effects and each person has there take on it cuz everyone is Battling something. So it goes to everyone and anyone who's in Pain both Physically or Mentally or both and take or abuse Pills or Street Drugs to numb away there Pain or numb away Life in General. All my Song's are Written and Sung by me and I'm a lover of music and even tho I wasn't elalive when Elvis was I gave such a weird connection with him and so many things in my life and family just Cool and funny but odd things such as date's if events in his life almost all have something to do with his life which is weird. And if it's not me it's my Wife who I end up Marrying and together her and her family has some Date's as well not as much as me and my Family but it's very Superstitious if you believe in that. And it's do weird that the way Elvis was and his style his taste and his temper it's like 100 Percent identical. Only difference is that he became a National Treasure and The most Famous Man in this Works and The KING and I say that in a playing way cuz there's only one KING and that's Jesus Christ. But Jesus I believe made ELVIS very special and gave him to us for just a short period of time cuz Elvis was to Good of a person to live or be involved in the Music or Movie Business which is why he wanted a Manager like the Col Tom Parker who was all business to take care of all that bullshit cuz he knew how dirty and Dangerous that stuff was especially when he starting his residency in Vegas with all the Casino's and city run by The MOB at that time. That's why he only signed on with the New Group who went to him and not only offered him $1 Million Dollars Per Show which that Bastard the Col stole and still got his side Money. And they were gonna build a brand New Hotel all off of making The Deal with Elvis First and I think they made their money Back and paid off the Hotel and Casino The First Year cuz Elvis was so White Hot it was sellouts every show till his last in Dec 1976 he sold out he made The International Hotel which I love that name which then became The Hilton. But they built that and built The top Floor the Presidential Masters Suit which was made specifically for ELVIS in his design and taste and you even see video it's on Utube of them going over the Blue Prints of the Hotel and Casino with Elvis and his Suite which was Huge. Now where in this World please someone respond when you have the answer cuz you never will cuz only Elvis could draw and have the Power and something done like that just to make him come out of retirement if you will as every Hotel pitched Huge Money for Elvis to sign and perform at there Casino's but this New Company bet on Elvis and even built a New one and signed him to a 7 Year Deal and built him a Million - $2 Million Dollar Suit. But Elvis knew The Mafia had there hand in those Casino's and even Sammy Davis JR who Loved Elvis and he was a rat pack member and k ew the Sinatra was involved with these guys Hell they even went to kidnap his Mother and ended up kidnapping his Son which you know it's No joke when they Highjacked Sinatra's Air Plane which was a clear message which was he was owing them a lot of and God knows what else. But Sammy Davis JR and even Dean Martin another rat pack member would tell him Hey see that guy or that guy stay away from them don't take anything from them which Elvis never did as we know he always gave but don't out yourself in a situation where it looks like they think you owe them cuz then it's all over. Do they helped him a lot in Vegas and people wonder why Elvis never explored Vegas really in. But let's be real People even though wished to God Elvis was still Alive today as I believe his voice would still be great and I think he would of dud huge things in the acting World and I bet you he would of fired the Col. Tom Parker before the 1980s or in the early 1980s and the Music and the Serious and Awesome Movies he would have made Man. But I'll tell you this, Elvis Aron Presley yes the real spelling 1 A which is a lot if weird stuff with his so called Death but ELVIS lived 2 or 3 Lifetime's in a short 42 Year's on this Earth as he did more in 42 years then some People who live to a 100 Year's old but don't experience Life and make a party out of every day. Long live The Greatest Entertainer and Singer that ever walked and you can tell by this Music Video where Michael Jackson got a lot of his dance moves from cuz he was obsessed with Elvis and even his Death and to the point where he married his Daughter Lisa Marie. You can see here and there's another video of Elvis dancing where he jumps and stands on the front of his shoes, like on the top of his toes where Michael Jackson does it and it's part of his biggest move sets along with the Moon Walk. But you can see that Elvis did this in the mid 1950s People like 40 Year's before MJ even out this in his act and had it down packed. And what's amazing is Elvis never had Singing it Dance or Playing lessons and he could play Guitar and Piano and could Sing and dance and he is The one who Choreograph this whole Music Video and Dance sequence all by himself and he was a 20 Year old Kid. He had No one before him Nobody to copy or take things from and make it his own. Just like So gs he did his Version and every time he recorded a Song it was better than the Original Version and became his. ELVIS was The Blue Print Period.

I loved watching your reaction to it. Another fun fact instead of choreographing Elvis to dance they watch Elvis dance to the song then choreograph around him. When he first started singing in public and dancing parents complanied that it was sinful. He stated he didn't do anything that he wouldn't or hadn't done anything not only in front of his mother but also in church. He had said on many occasions the his body just reacted to the music. I would still love you to do a reaction to Elvis and his daughter Lisa Marie singing "Where no one Stands Alone.". I think you would enjoy it a great deal.

Elvis didn't like being called Elvis the pelvis. In fact Elvis that was the most childish thing for an adult to say. Elvis being a good guy said, I can't do nothing about it and he went on about his business. He didn't carry on and act a fool. I have him saying this on an album to a guy reporting for TV guide in 1956 in Florida. He talks about other things and just tells it like it is in a nice fashionable manner of speaking.

When Elvis first became famous around 1956, the girls LOVED him but the parents HATED him. He really caused an uproar because of his hip and leg gyrations. Adults called him a misfit among all sorts of nasty things. After the 3rd time on the Ed Sullivan show, Ed said Elvis is a good and decent boy. If Ed Sullivan said so then he must be. That helped his image tremendously. Just a fun fact. Elvis Presley is my #1 and always will be😍. Thank you. More please😀

2 things to fill out what you have said. 1. the last song that Elvis sang on the third Sullivan show was an acapella version of Peace In The Valley with the Jordanaires singing backup. look for it, very worth it. 2. I’m 62 yrs old grew up on ELVIS. He opened them doors back then. AND EVERYBODY FOLLOWED THROUGH TOM PETTY said it best. He said ELVIS wasn’t given enough credit for blending WHITE & BLACK, COUNTRY, GOSPEL music all in one To make it his own style. They were NOT playing BLACK music on ALL the radio stations back in 54. 55. HE changed all that. I believe ELVIS was the Tree Trunk of the music world & everything else. This is technically not a music video in the sense of what we generally consider a music video. This Jailhouse Rock clip was from the movie Jailhouse Rock (1957). Dance sequences in movies date back to the 1920s. One of my favourites is this sequence by the Nicholas Bros from the 1943 movie Stormy Weather. The Nicholas Bros were a major influence on dance, including Michael Jackson. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/lZ6peqqlu7HWdGw.html

But mostly he was a kind & gentle soul! Adored his Mama & helped every1 who needed it! Now he's #SingingWithTheAngels still watching over us! 🙏🏼✨😢 Thank You for this post, MRM!👊🏻

Return to Sender is great, too. When you consider the time frame, Elvis was quite a mover and a shaker, literally and figuratively. Nicknamed "Elvis the Pelvis" (refer to Grease when she sings, "Elvis, Elvis, let me be ! Keep that pelvis farrrr from me !" to get a bit of the hysteria of the day), he could only be filmed from the waist up for television appearances (Ed Sullivan, notably). When you think back to those days, you see how revolutionary people like Elvis and Buddy Holly truly were. They pioneered a sound and innovated music. Buddy Holly is incredible. He was in the music scene for such a short period of time before his tragic death in 1959 at the age of 22. His music inspired many and his influence can still be heard today. A little band of four lads from the UK kinda liked him a little, too, taking their name from Buddy's backup band, The Crickets. Yes, I am referring to The Beatles. Buddy was a master of sound, incorporating everything from stand-up bass to strings in his music. Hailing from Lubbock, Texas, he grew up in the Dust Bowl with music mainly being gospel and country western, yet he turned the world upside down with his rockabilly sounds. That'll Be the Day might be a good place to start, but don't stop there. Not Fade Away, Oh Boy, Rave On, Everyday, Raining in my Heart, Maybe Baby, True Love Ways ... sooo many wonderful songs. And they were all pretty much less than 3 minutes long, so there's time to grab a few quickly ! Another note ... and most people know this, so this is more for the youngsters who may not ... Don McLean's hit from the early 70s called The Day the Music Died was his response to Buddy's death ... Namaste

I've been looking for you some videos of Elvis dancing. Speaking of the scene from Forrest Gump, I found that actual video of Elvis Presley's Hound Dog! It's from the Milton Berle show. The KZfaq video is called Elvis Presley - Hound Dog (1956) HD 0815007 and it's 2:27 long. I think you'd also like Bossa Nova Baby from Fun in Acapulco movie, you might get a kick out of C'mon Everybody in the Viva Las Vegas movie, I like the way he dances to Return to Sender in the Girls! Girls! Girls! movie, Got a Lot of Livin to Do in the Loving You movie (in the audience to Elvis' left, the woman with the black hair in the blue dress clapping is his mother Gladys), and Mean Woman Blues from the Loving You movie where he's singing in the restaurant. Enjoy!! Thanks for watching and supporting Elvis!

Elvis had a bunch of girls pick the right moment and held up a huge sign that says Elvis your the king. Elvis stopped everything, said I appreciate what you have done with the sign and all and said he believes Jesus is the only King. M J got some moves from Elvis! Tippy toes! ELVIS AIN'T DEAD! Thank you!! Glad you are too. And I am going back to your question from 4ever ago about guitar so I can finally reply to you. Lol. Baby Boomer here. Old enough to have seen Elvis in concert twice but not old enough to retire. He was very personable and loved to interact with the audience. He never took his fans for granted. I think the reason that we Baby Boomers love you so much is because we were raised in a time when television, music, movies, and life in general was pretty much rated PG. Oh, people cussed, just not EVERYWHERE you turned. Before I discovered you I had seen other reaction videos and they ain't you. Ty, you are a breath of fresh air in a profane world.
