Every time I look at Elvis in his movies, I remember the words of my teacher in acting school: 'The best dramatic actor - is a comedy actor, because the comedy actor could play anything'. I think Elvis is an excellent comedy actor.

Elvis had one hell of a great sense of humour. Even if he was off his face on the gear doing this song.....who cares??? Great performance, love it!!! This song was made for Elvis, no disrespect to Tony Joe White, who was a legend in his own right! Elvis never hurt anyone in his life. A decent, respectful, Christian, unlike the over rated fools in show business today who preach to us how we should live! Elvis never preached his opinions to anyone.....A great American who served his country with pride and distinction!! God Bless his soul and his eternal memory! 🙏
