I still remember the first time my sister heard Elvis on our black and white TV, she screamed and screamed just like they did on the trailer, scared me to death and caused the family to run to the livingroom....He sure changed the very foundation of rock and roll.

The fact that Austin Butler's performance had girls (including myself) squealing like the ones in the video proves how much he embodied Elvis. Oscar worthy performance for sure.

Austin Butlers portrayal as Elvis is 100% Oscar worthy. I just saw the film and he embodied that role.

Listen I'm not going to lie. When he started preforming I was in the movie and I started screaming just like these girls. I LOVED THIS MOVIE!!! Every scene had such drama and detail and you really felt like you got an understanding of who Elvis was.

Elvis was an incredibly talented man. He had the gift of presence as well as an incredible voice. I miss him. There will never be anything like this again.

It's been months since this video was posted but I had to share something about Austin Butler and Denzel Washington. During the acting process, the Director had narrowed it down to actors. Denzel heard that Austin Butler, a young actor he had worked with on Broadway several years ago was in the running for this part. Denzel called the Director and told him that Austin was the most prepared actor he had ever come across in his life. That call, made the difference and he decided to cast Austin as Elvis. Thank you Denzel!

I already saw this movie twice...I'm planning on going this week again...it is a movie to see on theatres...now can't stop playing all Elvis music . If he only knew that in 2022 new generations are learning and apreciating his legacy ....

I’m very happy for Austin Butler, from seeing him as an extra, guest star, and supporting roles in Nickelodeon shows; it’s nice to see him finally get his big break! I believe this performance as Elvis will take him to greater heights and I cannot wait to see it.

Great vocal performance by Austin Butler when performing early Elvis's songs in this scene... just like when talking, he managed to get that "Elvis sound" in his voice when singing. Quite impressive.. can't wait to see the rest ! Could be oscar-winning performance for Austin.

i just watched the movie. i love it sooo much, i cried and laughed. and when he said that no one will remember him after 40 years.. look now.

As soon as this movie came out, I went to see it with my youngest son, daughter and grand daughter! When it first came out in the stores, my son bought me this DVD for my Birthday. You won't be disappointed in this film. Even my young grand daughter who is 20 loved it. I know, I did!!!

I'm always skeptical when it comes to acting performances, but Austin is fr the best actor i've seen in a long time. It's one thing to act out a scene in a movie where people have no expectations, but it's a whole other thing to be able to emulate a person like Elvis, known by billions of people, in such a manner that you forget during the movie that this is not actually Elvis. Everything about Austin's performance was oscar worthy, his accent, the voice, the movements, the facial expressions, the gestures, the emotions. Just incredible.

Elvis revolutionized the world of music, he was an iconic character who survived generations. Great interpretation of Butler and rest in peace King of Rock

Ive had a crush on E since I was 6. Renewed my wedding vows by an E impersonator. In my 60’s now & he is STILL the KING! Cant wait to see this film. Looks tastefully done & well represented by both Butler & Hanks.

His spirit now lives in Austin and you can see it and feel it. There is something about this movie that makes the girls and people go insane, it's the performance and the aura he simply gives off, he gives off the power, magic, love, the body, mind, and spirit of Elvis. This is just an insane movie. He took this role to the absolute next level. From learning the many many voices of Elvis to even learning and mastering the intense voice of Elvis, the intense dance moves. The mind, body and spirit of Elvis Aaron Presley surely lives on in Austin and it shows like absolute crazy. I can go as far as to saying he is going to embody some of his ways, his speaking voice, his walk, his way of moving about his life. Austin will never be the same. He will always have the king's presence and spirit right next to him.

You hear of people embodying a role but this is ridiculous?! He's playing Elvis but not in some type of carbon copy fashion. It's s the actor simply enjoying the entire process of experiencing Elvis along with everyone in the audience, simply brilliant job Austin.

When he said I'm ready "ready to fly" He really looked and sounded like Elvis! I've heard lots of Elvis impersonators but,I've never seen or heard one that actually seems to have the Elvis persona like Austin Butler.I never would have dreamed this young actor could have pulled this off. I just got back home from watching this and not only did I also scream like those women, I couldn’t help but listen to only Elvis on the drive home! So so lovely!

There can be only one. And a teenage girl is very impressionable. When she seen Elvis believe me I know. I've been a fan of Elvis Presley ever since now a lifetime fan. All Elvis's songs were hits but as I was writing this this one particular song came to me. "Memories press between the pages of my mind."it's been a great run being an Elvis fan. Elvis's second to none. ❤️ 🌹

Back in the day, they had never seen anything or anybody quite like Elvis. Having worked in Music Promotions for 4 years, they look for good looks, unique talent, and unusual and exceptional style. Elvis had all of that plus!!! I'm glad that this movie was made, and hope that it preserves both Elvis's History in Music and keeps all of the memories of him alive for many more generations to come.

I loved how the director chose to frame the hayride performance. It's the first scene you see Austin as Elvis and you're already doubting if he could pull it off. Just like the crowd doubted Elvis. That was Austin in the beginning and he genuinely looked terrified then he transformed into Elvis as soon as he sang that first note. Smart move.

I am 57 now and I will never forget Elvis, he will always be the King of the pop🤴, it is sad he died so young😭, I miss him so much and I hope I meet him in heaven one day🙏 and I will always love him💖💖💖💕💕💕
