Yes elvis did become addicted to prescription drugs When you become that famous & cannot leave you’re own house to go for a walk or go to the cinema or spend time with family without the public bombarding you for autographs or to rip the clothes off of you’re back as a keepsake... then what else was the man to do ??? He took advice from his doctors like anyone would. The man was the first time the world had seen a superstar, he himself lead the first steps of being a superstar, unlike today where the media & stars work along side with each other & doctors are monitored in what they do Unfortunately he was a guinea pig being the first superstar of music .... many things have been learnt from the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll living a life of poverty while he was young then all of a sudden being spring-boarded into a millionaire superstar ..... unfortunately a little too late as he is now dead. The world still keeps his music alive, his family keeps his spirit Alive, he himself made what it is today God bless the Presley family & May Elvis Presley Rest In Peace

If I was a teenage girl in the 60s I would’ve probably been screaming and crying over him too! What an absolutely lovely man 💜
@jeffryphillipsburns Жыл бұрын
I think you mean fifties. Elvis was pretty much washed up by the early sixties, although he did eventually stage a sort of a come back later in the sixties with a couple more hits. In any case, he had made his big splash in the fifties, not the sixties. By the sixties he was old news, and his remaining fans were not teenagers.
@kate_s_90 Жыл бұрын
@@jeffryphillipsburns nope. I said the 60s and that’s what I meant lol 60s Elvis was my favourite. As much as he hated many of them, I loved lots of his films. And I’d disagree wholeheartedly with the description “washed up”. He was far from washed up at that point. I would’ve loved to have been around when he was performing again after his 68 comeback. Would have been a dream to see him live.
@shaunigothictv1003 Жыл бұрын
@@kate_s_90 Kate, you are obviously letting your intense sexual attraction of Elvis cloud your judgement. Elvis was a crap guitar player - in fact he was just a beginner. Elvis was a crap songwriter - in fact he knew this thats why he never attempted to write his own songs. Elvis openly talked about women giving him oral sex in his "this is elvis" documentary. Its already on KZfaq Kate. Just type in "this is elvis" on KZfaq. You cannot debunk my points because you know i am right - if you have the courage to watch it. And remember my other points too.
@kate_s_90 Жыл бұрын
@@shaunigothictv1003 hahaha wow. Relax. It makes no difference to you what a stranger on the internet thinks of Elvis Presley. I’m allowed to like him, and you’re allowed not to. And please don’t patronise me. I don’t need to look up “This Is Elvis” on KZfaq. I’ve seen it before :) Have a nice day.

Elvis was unfailingly polite. Many of these reporters were asking him ridiculous and personal questions and he was so kind when he told them that he wasn't comfortable answering. What a truly respectful, hilariously funny and overall great person he was. How he stayed so humble and light with his stardom is a bit of a miracle. Such a beautiful soul, inside and out.
@christianaberdeen4561 Жыл бұрын
Presley died on a toilet straining to poo*p when his distended colon burst his heart connected artery. Elvis Presley was a sa* anist puppet. Rock &roll even gets his name from its idea - to rock and roll living stones (us) away from Christ's temple. Why do you think the most iconic rock band was called Rolling Stones. What goes with rock? Drinking, drugs, unrestrained sex, violence, 'do as you wilt'. Presley started generations of sat&anism and helped mess up probably billions of people. So he got a similarly ignominous end to the likes of king Herod.

It’s amazing as he is clearly not well in the later interviews, he looks bloated , sweaty and clearly not well yet everyone appears to pretend everything is fine

... and that pretence went on until the end of his life.

I love how hw knew his place as an entertainer and refused to comment his political opinions to the public, shows himility and willingness to let everyone believe what they want.

Thank you to whoever for posting these snippets of Elvis’ interviews. By seeing and listening to them, we can form more truthful opinions OURSELVES rather than us being told by the media what we are supposed to have seen or heard (like we don’t have brains)‼️‼️‼️

Elvis was a Rebel and revolutionized the culture. Men wanted to be him and women wanted him. He was basically a very religious person and loved everyone. He was like a white gorgeous black man and sung all alone. In all halls of Fame.

I’m only 31 and it’s easy to see the kind of impact this man had on the world even to this day I always found it fascinating how everyone alive at that time could tell you where they were when they heard similar to how I think of 9/11. I remember my dad telling me stories of my grandma and all her friends crying over a complete stranger he was that transcendent. Honestly a lot of these celebrities today would be wise to watch how this man conducted himself over the course of his life no amount of fame or money was able to inflate his ego from his time in the military to the very end he remained humble, respectful and polite to whomever he was speaking with I don’t know if I’ve ever seen footage of him angry acting nasty towards reporters. Another thing I truly admire him for is the way he very politely declined to answer any kind of politically motivated or any controversial subject questions he was proud and intelligent enough to keep his opinion to himself knowing full well he had the potential to influence millions if he wanted to push an agenda. In the end my comprehension of his demise was it was selflessness that killed him. The drugs and all that were just a symptom to keep his payroll and provide for all the people he felt he couldn’t let down and depended on him instead of taking care of himself first and that’s part of his legacy he was generous and trustworthy of the wrong people to a fault. what an icon

This is what I feel from him too, and I can’t get how someone so lovely and humble would be able to be a kind of “aggressive” husband. It’s hard to trust this accusations against him. Love Elvis 🙏🏼🤍
