Hi Jimmy, if you start business with that plane you should try to get a realistic Elvis doll who even wears his perfume he always used and put him in a seat for the visitors while his music plays in the back! Sadly that restoring makes no sense as the FAA says..But anyway a good Investition because you can´t loose cash with that jet!

Was amazed you bought this jet before having it assessed for airworthiness. But now this has morphed into a different project. Have to give you a thumbs up now Jimmy. Be interesting to see the results.

I was thinking splice the tail section back on. What happened to the tail feathers? I think if you still have those, you could make them "stubby" to meet the 8.5ft width and 12.5 ft height limitations. I agree with Justin that the wing tanks could cover up the road-worthy "undercarriage".

@@sanfranciscobay No! It was manufactured in the USA and must abide by its Intellectual Property Laws. Also, EPE owns the same registered rights in virtually every country. There is no escaping it. If Jimmy has no agreements with EPE and spends a considerable sum refurbishing the aircraft he will be in a financially hopeless situation. EPE could also issue a Cease and Desist on the whole project. He could restore the junk, but have no reference to Elvis Presley. Surely, Jimmy has the necessary agreements/licenses from EPE for this project, including at least an DOU/MOU prior to the purchase. Right, Jimmy? 🙄

I only wished with all your knowledge of planes that someway you could have gotten past the FAA just due to who owned this jet. The company that inspected should. Have known in advance about the noise the engines put out and the part that was missing not to mention no one made the engines were no longer available and the frame rot not making it air worthy thus giving you hope that from the beginning should have stopped and let you know instead of going over all the parts needed to get it back in the air wasting your time. If Japan can build an airport on top of the ocean that even survived a 7.2 magnitude earth quake this is constantly sinking an a typhoon that some company could fix the major problems with this jet. I heard there were 2 engines in Elvis’s museum that if still in tact could be used and maybe find 2 different engines to use that this jet could be given special permission to attend air shows. You know that if fundraisers were asked for that millions of people would send money just to get it in the air again. If we can go to the moon surely their is a company that produce the metal to fix the air frame with some type of metal to fix the structure of this jet just to get their name added to who helped getting it flying.
