You elevate a man to the status of a god , but he wasn't a.god. He was.a.drug addict , alcoholic pedophile. Don't say he wasn't a pedophile because it's a proven fact that he always toured with three 14 to 15 year old girls who were always ready for pillow fights , kissing and cuddling. He was well known for liking his girls very young. His marriage ended with a rape. So , not a god., just a very flawed human being.

@@joanedwards-de6pl The concert that was on TV was shown after he had passed away. I was a little girl when he died, but I remember watching his concert. Instead of being hateful with your reply "Do some research and get your facts straight", you could've nicely said "This wasn't the last televised concert". I only 10 years old when he died, I'm in my 50's now. So I am relying on a memory of something I saw once many years ago. Thank you for your reply and clarification about the footage. Its all in the marketing. Elvis was a man like any other man. His life could have been longer if he had chosen to get off the drugs and alcohol and if he had eaten a little healthier. Whether you like it or not the man was living on borrowed time. Yes , he could sing well , but he was not a god. He had flaws. His inner circle never told him no , so a lot of blame lies on them. Giving him all the drugs and young girls that he wanted messed with his head. Who didn't know he wouldn't have a long life ? He's actually lucky to have made it to 42.

Sometimes I wish I could get a time machine, go back in time, and whisk him away to a deserted island with nothing but fresh vegetables and healthy fruits. To get all the drugs out of his system, to ground him so he can return back to what it was. Barbara, I worked with a journalist who saw Elvis perform in Hawaii in the 70's. At work she wore an Elvis T-shirt everyday.Someone asked her why and she replied " I saw Elvis in concert and it changed my life. At the end of the show I bought 14 Elvis T-shirts so to remind me of that experience ". So my question Barbara is, is that what happened at an Elvis concert ? Was it so powerful that it affects you forever ?
@barbaraking8225 жыл бұрын
@@whahappened8398 I would have to say yes. He exuded such magnetism.. Truly the best performer I've ever seen, and then again, as I had said, I loved him or the persona he had..even over weight, and drugged, I knew I was in the presence of a very special person...your friend was lucky to have seen him in his prime! However, I still loved him be it in the Hawaiian concert, and the Indianapolis concert...I only wish I could have known him..

It’s so sad that Elvis never got all the awards he deserved for how he could sing any kind of music. He could sing them all pop, country, r&b, rock, gospel. What other singer can do that but yet gets all kinds of awards. It’s sad the way he was treated and not appreciated. If he had of been maybe it would have motivated him to take better care of himself and if that manager of his was out of his life way b4 he passed so he could have fulfilled his dreams. RIP Elvis u will never be forgotten and always loved by billions of ppl.
