I never believed it until my professor, a musicologist, challenged me to find a singer who sang so many different genres as majestically as Elvis, and I couldn't. Meaning I now have come to the conclusion, after going down the Elvis Rabbit Hole, that he is the greatest vocalist we have ever had, & there's a lot of proof out there to back that up. Best of luck with the channel!

Lisa had three albums come out. The first two charted in the top ten. You should react to her song Lights Out. It references her life with her father. Before hearing that song, I never thought what it might be like as a kid to have family buried in the backyard and knowing your plot would be next to them. Flash forward. She is buried in that same backyard with her son, her father, her grandmother, her grandfather, and her great grandmother. Hundreds of people a day walk by her and her fathers grave to lay flowers and pay their respects.

I wanted to thank you for doing this particular song. Losing Elvis Presley even though it’s been so many decades later still hurts just like it did the day of August 16, 1977 however what was crucially devastating was losing Lisa Marie. She died so young and it was so unnecessary complications due to a weight loss surgery. How tragic how sad it still breaks my heart. I’ve loved Elvis for 60 years and I grew up like she was my little sister and just watching this brings tears to my eyes. Thank you for sharing this and for doing this particular song, Long live the King and long live the memory of his princess. Happy holidays.

This is so beautiful & bittersweet. She had lost her sons as well, so she is now with her Daddy & her son together, never to be alone again. She was talented in her own right & their passing so young is a tragedy. ~ There is a 'duet' with Hank Willaims Sr. & Jr., like this, called 'There's a tear in my beer' & it's cool how they engineered that one too. I mean Sr. died when Jr., nicknamed 'Bocefus' by his daddy was 3 or 4 when his dad died..

Lisa lost her dad at 9 years old. She adored him and this was a tribute for the 40th year of his passing. Sadly we lost her too, 5 years later. Don’t cry daddy is another of hers which in memory of her dad. Thanks for reacting to this one. Elvis left such a great legacy that many have tried to denigrate. Thankfully, his legions of fans, old and now new are here to keep his memory alive and as successful now as he was over 6 decades ago. Look at songs from his 68 Comeback Special, the anniversary of which was 55 years on the 3rd of December. 🙏👌💕🕺

This was the last song Lisa ever recorded. She was 50 years old at the time of this recording. Elvis would have been in his thirties when his vocals were captured. I think it's a beautiful song between father and daughter. I thank you for the reaction video. It saddens me that nobody's reacting to Lisa's music. A few people did a couple of reaction videos right after she died in January but nothing since. She was a brilliant songwriter and a wonderful artist in her own right. I adore her last album 'Storm & Grace'. Many of her songs were about her second husband Michael Jackson.

Thank you so much for playing this song. I cry every time I hear it. Here in Memphis, we LOVE EP and LMP. Their lives ended way too soon. But we have their music that will live on forever. Her very first duet with her dad was "Don't Cry Daddy" here in Memphis at the 20th anniversary of his passing . A great and wonderful surprise since she always said singing wasn't her thing. Elvis's Christmas songs would be great to hear this time of year.

The other thing about Elvis people don't know about is he loved the Bible he loved God he was grateful for what God gave to him and where go a problem too you wouldn't just grateful he wanted everybody to have the gift of life it's a free gift and he wanted to be a pastor he wanted to lead others to God he would love everybody to accept Jesus Christ not just Lord and savior but to having turn on life that's what gave Elvis joy and purpose to sing he was so internally grateful he wanted everybody to have that joy

I never realized Lisa Marie’s unique voice till I heard this duet. It was her tribute to her Dad for the 40 th anniversary of his passing. She only recorded three albums in which she wrote most of her own songs. She had limited exposure and didn’t really pursue an active career but she definitely had some of her Dad’s talent.

R.I.P both Elvis and his Lisa Marie, they are both missed. Lisa Marie was 9 years old and saw her dad lying dead on the floor in the bathroom, so she had several tough things happening in her life.
