All sorts of uniqueness to the TD at the end. It was Rod Smith's first career catch and kickstarted a fantastic career for the undrafted free agent. It was also the only time in Darrell Green's Hall-of-Fame career that he was beaten for a game-winning TD in the final two minutes of a game, and the only time Elway ever threw a TD pass on the final play of a game.

I still maintain that the Broncos from around 97-01 had the greatest Oline of all time. Of course that extended into the mid 2000s as well. Any RB that was plugged in produced. Davis, Anderson, Gary, Bell, Portis, etc. It didn't matter. The scheme and coaching was incredible. Mike Shannahan was an offensive genius. Kyle Shannahan has had success with the blocking scheme/philosophy to this day.

Playoffs IND run to the AFC Champ by upsetting defending AFC Champ SD Final games of Don Shula on MIA’s sideline & Jim Kelly as BUF’s signal caller Linn Elliot & the Curse of Marty GB’s deepest playoff run since the Lombardi Days. Upset defending champ SF & came with 4 of knocking off DAL in NFC Champ. Brett Favre threw a pick that later resulted in a score… Now where have I seen that…? DAL-PIT Super Bowl that was pretty good game. And the behind the scenes stuff… Go read “Boys Will Be Boys”

Between the Terrell Davis touchdown that shouldn't have been and the Washington touchdown catch that should have been, any Washington fans that saw this game must've been heated over some of the calls. That final touchdown throw was a thing of beauty, though.

I'll agree with the first, but the reception being able to stay in bounds in the first place isn't that clear and we see it from an angle or far away warps the perspective. That said, you are probably right

Fun fact: that was Rod Smith's first TD catch, to win the game, off Daryl Green. Not bad. God am I that old? I still remember watching this one and it was odd because it was the first Broncos game on Fox Sports. It was like, "Why do we need to go to channel 13 to watch this game"?
