This video makes you realize if Drew Brees had the right team he would have possibly gotten GOAT status.

So Dan Fouts lead the leauge with 4,802 passing yrd in 1981, and then lead the league in passing yrds again in 1982 with 2,883 yrds. That’s a 1,919 yrds less than the year before 😭 how was no other Quarterback able to throw for more yrds 🤔

Chargers should had won it all back in ‘79. Those four picks Fouts threw in the divisional against the Oilers hurt their chances of their best shot at a title while having somewhat of a balanced defense…

This video showed me three things. 1. I'm not crazy suggesting Brees belongs in the QB Goat debate with Manning, Brady, Montana, Mahomes, etc. 2. Warren Moon used to throw some of the most beautiful looking balls I've ever seen. 3. A man named Steve Beurelein exists and he somehow had the most NFL passing yards in 1999.

This young man was my hero when i was playing LB/S in high school. His whole life was dedicated to football and family. His size, athletism and hard hitting ability was what drew me to him. But his work ethic, drive, outlook, and family life made him the man i respected even to today. Thanks Sean, i hope youre resting well.

Some aren't going to like it, and I don't care if they do, but Patrick Mahomes has an argument for his 2022 season being the greatest for a quarterback in NFL history. 5,250 yards and 41 TD passes, leading the league in both, 105.2 passer rating, only .3 behind the league leader, broke the record for total yards in a season for a qb with 5,614, won league MVP, became the first quarterback to lead the league in yards and touchdowns and win league MVP to win the Super Bowl in the same year, and won Super Bowl MVP.

Yes Walsh should have made the fg but it was typical Zimmer football. He was playing for a fg, with the field position we had, a timeout and 1:20 you call plays to score a damn TD.

Drew Brees played 20 seasons of NFL ball of the 20, 8 of those seasons were seasons where he led the league in passing yards, 4 of which for 5000+ yards 13/19 seasons he was selected for the Pro Bowl When he retired he was the all time passing yards leader, he was 2nd in touchdown passes, 2nd in completion percentage (first if you exclude Deshaun Watson's smaller sample size), tied for 1st in touchdowns in one game, most seasons leading the league in passing yards, amongst other accolades. All without a top 10 defense in 18/20 seasons with the Saints. He may only have one Super Bowl, but to me, he is better than Brady.

It’s kind of weird that Tua Tagovailoa appears on this list for most passing yards in a single season by a quarterback despite having a losing record of 9-14 against teams with a winning record in his NFL career!
@jeffreylamarwilliams1638Күн бұрын
Most passing yards ≠ winning football. See Jaboo Winston also on this list. Love Jameis, but he’s not an elite QB. Also see Drew Brees the most times on this list. Not comparing him to Jameis at all but guy only has one ring despite having the most years leading the league in passing.
@gcooper14623 сағат бұрын
@@jeffreylamarwilliams1638 Agree. Bucs went 7-9 in 2019. The next season's leader, Deshaun Watson, had a starting record of 4-12

@@jeffreylamarwilliams1638Doesn’t mean you didn’t play well individually, but well roundedness and execution above all else lead to teams at their best
