Elyse Mirto is a veteran character actor of stage and screen. Currently she is playing General Michelle Dupree in the feature film Champagne, Eileen, a series regular, in the web series Imposter and is starring in 3 short films currently in festivals. Elyse is a Detroit native and holds a BFA from Western Michigan University as well as studying at The Royal National Theatre of Great Britain.
Some TV credits include; Dynasty, Criminal Minds, Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, NCIS, Law and Order SVU, Cold Case, Malibu Gothic, a recurring role as Debbie Foster on The Last Ship and the series lead in the pilot of WIC300. Elyse has appeared in over 30 national commercials, dozens of independent films as well as doing voice over and print work. She also lends her talents dubbing shows into English for Netflix.
In New York Elyse appeared at several theaters including off Broadway and is the recipient of the New York Innovative Theater Award for outstanding lead actress in a play.
In Chicago Elyse appeared at Chicago’s Tony winning Goodman Theatre and Chicago Shakespeare Repertory.
Los Angeles Theatre: The Geffen, A Noise Within, South Coast Rep, The Mark Taper Forum, The Rubicon, Laguna Playhouse, The Kingsmen Shakespeare Fest and The Antaeus Theatre Co. She is a multiple Ovation and LA Drama Critics Circle nominee. She has been, and still is, directing episodes of the KZfaq comedy web series, Living in Quarantine, (now renamed “Out and About”). Elyse is also a conservatory teacher in at California School for the Arts San Gabriel Valley, a doting aunt to 5 of the coolest nephews and nieces the Motor City has ever seen, partner of actor Bo Foxworth and mom to Bert. A 75lb Black Mouth Cur who looks and sounds like Scooby Doo.
