Not only did Eminems song bring tears to my eyes, it also solved lifes biggest problems. I always wondered how in the world i could rhyme orange and banana. Then Eminem answered it for me. Bornana. So simple, yet so elegant. It is immediately followed up by "eating pork rinds, sword fighting in pajamas." This truly expresses how, even with lifes biggest struggles (like sword fighting in pajamas), Eminem still suggests eating 3 meals a day. The section ends with "at the crib, playin' fortnite with yo grandma." Truly a lyrical masterpiece.

It's just age and/or experience. We all came out of the gate full of piss and fire, that causes this challenge of younger mindsets and ideas meeting what is. It's a necessary friction to move us forward but that's ok because things worth keeping tend to withstand that. It's also not fair to yourself to hate or feel ashamed of your generation. You can't choose those things anymore than you could have chosen your gender race or culture. You can influence your peers if you see them off target. Just don't own that, you can only control yourself, so if they don't hear you save your breath. Focus on what you can control and let the petty things go. This entire discussion over gen-z calling to cancel him is petty and ignorant, so take it for what it is, a fun fan moment to enjoy the organic (or not) moment where call and response plays out beautifully. Or don't, but ain't mad at your generation.

First, the em song they were trying to cancel him for just went to show they really never listened to em to begin with. There's that part. Second, em has addressed his lyrics time and time again since the 90s and has dodged cancel culture ever since. Em is a lyrical genius for so many reasons. He's a smart man in business and in art. Third, what gen z will never understand is em is responsible for some of their favorite artists and inspired so many more than that, lyrically speaking yet zero can measure up. They need to really calm this shit and step off. There isn't a rapper alive that can lyrically go toe to toe with em. Most of his lyrics are inner monolog or life experience intertwined. That's what art is made of.
