Fun stuff, Cassius! I really like hearing a younger view on KISS because it's a different take. I was born in the 80s, so my fascination with KISS stemmed from when they were the icons of the 80s, never to be seen in makeup ever again. I felt kind of cheated. lol However, they got back together in the 90's, etc etc etc, so ta-dah! But what I'm trying to get at was was that due to my age, I couldn't really get a good KISS conversation in. Thanks for the great shows! I'll be tuning in on KZfaq. Keep rocking!

Re Eddie Trunk Jr . Cassius I think you did a great job with this podcast. Wish I would have listened to it sooner. You answered many questions and people have wondered. Being an original member of the KISS Army it's sad to hear another past member has gone off the wall and over to never be the same talented musician they were again. Keep up the good work.

Even though he has ripped so many people off, f***ed so many people over...I still love that he did with Kiss as a musician and writer, and I feel sad for him as a person. This is a very very lonely and very very sick human being. A guy who knows a guy, said that Vinnie lived off chinese food, and there were dog urine, and feces on the carpet inside his house etc. He would be on the computer up to 18 hours a day. Not sure if that is true, but one thing is for certain...he reads almost EVERYTHING written about him online. He keeps an eye on discussions at message boards etc. Now after his wife died, he is a sick and lonley human being. Noone knows exactly where he lives now. Not in Tennesee anymore. Rumours is that he moved south somewhere, where his sister lives, and she looks after him. The man promotes himself as a guitargod that is relevant today on his sites that has come and gone. Fact is...he is a little lonlely balding man, that puts on a wig when he takes out the trash. Neighbours thought it was two women living together in Tennesse, when him and his wife lived in those houses behind the big padlocked fence. They rarely saw him. He brought most of this on himself...the critisism online etc. I despise him for being such a douche and ripping people off, but I also feel sad becaue he was such a great guitarist, songwriter and because at the end, he is nothing thesedays, but a sad and lonely humanbeing. He recently tried to sell 'Lick It Up' and VVI memorabillia that he had worn on tour plus old guitars. Extreme prices like 2000$ for a napkin with some lyrics written on them. I mean...he isn't Elvis. None of the items sold, and if people had bought them....rest assured, he would NEVER post the items to you. The items were removed from his site. I hope he gets the help he needed if he is with his sister.

I emailed Vinnie, I asked about getting a shirt cheaper without the signature, he said no, I asked what "Vinnie's Angels" was & he said we are customer service we don't have any answers. So I asked when it will be back in stock & he ignored me.

Oh, and one more thing, I've met Paul and Gene on numerous occasions over a 25 year period, not sure where you were going with what seemed like derisive comments about the KISS business, but the two of them, GENE in particular has always been over the top accommodating, friendly and on a couple of occasions we ended up having a long BS session, an absolutely great person and all I could have hoped for, so if your KISS preconceptions have been smashed by the fact that they want to be paid to work (Don't you?) mine showed me I had underestimated how awesome the people behind the make up really were. True super heroes after all.Oh, and I have never paid to meet them, no meet and greets or anything like it.

I remember being mad at my 1st grade school carnival and trying to win the KISS album at a game and kept winning the game and ended up with E.T. soundtrack and Bob Welch solo album. I kept winning and asking for the KISS album on display. Vinnie seems to be his own worst enemy. Damn near zero musical output since VVI broke up in the late 80's, a domestic abuse issue with his recent wife, and selling those way over-priced double V guitars. The guy needs to get his life in order and give his career a much-needed shot in the arm.

Hey Cassius , I was watching tv last nite and came across 'Storage Hunters' 'PawnShop Edition' and you'll never guess who was there . . . . Mark Slaughter !! he didn't say anything whatsoever but he was in a bidding war over a locker filled with what looked like recording equipment ..he won as the other dudes were at there limit . he won the locker for $60,000 !!!! Question for you : have you ever interviewed Mark or sent away for an autograph ? Do you like Slaughter or would you be interested in doing an interview with him ? I havn't looked online to see if this episode is here but check it out if you can find it ? ..and pass this news on to the people over at the VVFF or KISSFAQ too

Based on Vinnie's behavior & actions such as making people think that he will be releasing things such as new music, etc. and using multiple/fake user-names on the VV Forum , KISSFAQ & other places here on the Net is just a ploy to keep people interested & by doing so it generates interest as he' always seems to be a topic , good or bad , it doesn't matter. One thing he learned from Gene Simmons was that "KISS" is loved or hated but never ignored & any publicity is good publicity' ...but unlike Gene who generally uses his mouth/words to seek attention and it's not always good as we know , Vinnie on the other hand has used his actions ...in most cases not by choice ..: Busted' for an example just read the details of his arrest after the domestic violence / wife beater incident not "LoL' ! but with alias's he keeps us talking & discussing him and that keeps his name relevant in a way & that leads people to possibly buy his autographed t-shirts & pic's, etc. and maybe someone will eventally buy his over priced $100,000 Guitar's or his $25,000 belt or his $5,000 lyric sheets , etc. how could the authenticity be proven ...and how does anyone know that he didn't have multiples ...? Buy at your own risk or demand to see the products in person 1st ? sadly , maybe use a lawyer & his lawyer to do the transaction's ? this guy is too shady & has a history of being desperate for money and therefore being dishonest & deceitful so . . . Reguardless, that's inexcusable behavior from anyone (with scruples ) , but these are just a few examples of shady things Vinnie is guilty of doing & maybe still doing too ? things done by a man, who, by making poor decisions & life choices has gotten himself into a lot of trouble due to his own actions and he doesn't want to be held accountable. If it was slanderous & it there was a defamation of character issue, well, that's different but there wasn't. The bottom line on the bogus Lawsuits brought on by Vinnie Vincent (Vincent Cusano) ...they were 'bogus' , no merit , frivolous. . . and the Judge thought so too !! ...and now Vinnie owes around $65,000 for Legal fee's . He blames his Lawyer . . . Vinnie ...if you read this , my suggestion to you is "Get A Job" !! This is typical VV behaviour that Gene and Paul both spoke about on videos etc. I know Paul and gene talk a lot of shit but it's obvious on their opinions of VV is exactly what they've put out there. I saw VV near a KISS convention in the late 1990's . He was nasty and rude and abusive. He went from being hey how r u to gimme gimme in about 20 seconds once autographs were mentioned. I liked is style in KiSS . Ok he wasn't ace but he was good in his own style. But he has the nature and. Manners of a unbalanced rattlesnake. Actually an unbalanced rattlesnake would probably be easier to deal with. And probably have better manners .

As for Vinnie, if it quacks like a duck . . . . This guy has been crushed by KISS, probably leaving very modestly, and has to be very discriminate with who he'll do an interview. Do the indiegogo campaign, then, hopefully, make a sizable offer. This is stupid. Thayer has done nothing interesting as a musician. Vinnie is a mystery and made great songs and helped KISS make two of their very best albums ever.
