Embark on an Unforgettable Surfcasting Adventure in New Zealand!

When I look back at my fishing adventures I rarely think of big fish I have caught. Sure, there are those once in a lifetime fish that you will remember forever, but what sticks with me more is how those adventures made me feel. Memories of time spent the right way, in wild places, with passionate people, is what will always keep me coming back for more.
This land based adventure along the South Taranaki Coast is one of those adventures. Having the opportunity to team up with a couple of Kiwi legends who have surfcasting in their blood, and getting to explore their backyard where they have shared so many memorable adventures, is what fishing is all about to me.
Throw a few memorable fish in there and you have the perfect recipe for an epic New Zealand Surfcasting adventure!

Awesome video Brownie I’m hooked on all types of fishing but surfcasting has to be be my favourite application it takes a special skill set to consistently bang snaps off the sand

I know where this is never actually had a proper fish here though didn't know it was this good what date was it, and bait and fo these people own the land coz it says no vehicles? Lastly like someone like me are we aloud to go over to that rick spot on the paddoks, cheers

Hey mate, that’s all private land we fished on down there but the lads tell there is plenty of epic public access spots along that coast.

great vid enjoy the surfcasting ones not enough of them on you tube bring on more of these types of vids they can be so rewarding ps i take it the beach that you were fishing on was not accesable to us ordinary anglers due to it being over privare land

Most spots are accessible buy foot there a lot like this that have been locked due to to many punters getting stuck on the beach. Taranaki has a coast line called surf highway 45 close to the coast line. Get on google and start the search
