Good to be reminded of how stencils can be used in different ways. When I am using the stencil for embossing I lightly mist the front and back of the card. It makes for a deeper impression. Thanks for your tutorial.

The title got me. I have stencils, haven't used them yet,cause I'm not really a fan of stencils. But!! I like the way you're using them and I have to try it. Just got an idea,I have spray inks. Thank you for sharing; this technique is fantastic! It provides so much more versatility and embossing image options to choose from than just the 2D and 3D embossing folders from the manufacturers. I have quite a large collection of purchased stencils as well as make some of my own designs with craft plastic and my Cricut. Still trying to get the sandwich right for *hopefully* a deeper emboss on my Spellbinders Platinum. Thank you again. Love your stencil. I have to add it to my collection. Subscribing.☺☺🙏

What do you use if you don't have the impression pad? Can you use the regular top cutting plate? I have wanted to try this type of embossing.

I have the embossing mat but never heard of the impression pad! Looks amazing. Is it made by Sizzix?
