Since Ashlands, max is now 19 with the addition of the lava lantern. Just leaving this here for anyone seeing this short in the future. :)

You've never heard of Valheim? On its release, it was the biggest selling game on steam for a month. Has sold in excess of 7 million copies. If you play mmo's , you'll know Valheim. What kind of games do you play?

Still mad about the rug nerf. They should have let higher tier rugs give more comfort, but instead they just reduced active playtime and removed one of the most exciting things to discover in a new biome (new rugs to add to the collection).

I'm not sure rug discovery is one of the most exciting things about new biomes but I respect and admire your appreciation for rugs.

@@DngrDanBaking bread was probably one of the most important discoveries for me. For some reason it's the simple things that suck you into this game. The game really succeeds in making you feel immersed in the world you play in.

@@Silthanas reducing play time? Just set up a campfire, sit down and take your 8min buff. It doesn't matter your comfort level.

I loved valheim so much spent months on it but when I got to the mistlands my xbox just handle it, became so laggy that it was unplayable 😔

I dont think they have changed the swamp so. No. The swamp and its massive difficulty spike has always stopped me from playing further into the game

@@thefrogmagician9866Use the highest gear you have, which should be the Bronze armour and combine it with a root mask or some root gear item for that pierce and poison resistance. Remember to parry, carry health and poison resistance meads. And don't neglect your farming and cooking items - they make a massive difference. You should genuinely be fine then. The game is only really difficult if you don't come prepared.

Yes the game is good, to me it always has been. Just as the other guy was saying about the swamp. The swamp is a difficulty spike that pushes a lot of players away. Tank through that and it gets even better.

And if you want an even better chance at surviving, go during the day - at night the wraiths come out. The game is always more enjoyable with more than one player as well. Nice to have someone who has your back.

@@daedrademonlord8941 I didn't even get to the swamp, I played the game first thing it popped up as playable, it was laggy, there was no explanation of anything, combat sucked and building sucked

Didn't know about the xp boost of the rest bonus ! Thank you 🫡 I was grinding my perks last night, find a great way, after using greydwarf spawn and not killing the chaman for him to keep healing, i now go to draugr village, with the base weapon (for leveling the dagger i use the flint one for maximise the number of hits) It's crazy effecive, 10lvl in about 30min 🤟 it compensates for the loss of level from my numerous deaths in Ashland 💀😆
