I'm disabled (leg disabled, but not from acid) and I bloody love this episode. It gave me a catchphrase that's brilliant for breaking tension when somebody feels a bit awkward around me. Edit. For clarity, I meant "I'm disabled!" in a frail Irish accent. Not "I love willies".

This episode is comedy at its finest. Moss' cluelessness at the gay questions during the show, his attitude as he gets enrolled to work at the bar, Roy 'I'm disabled's pathetic look as he gets loaded up in the van and then back down... I'm still crying / laughing after seeing it so many times, also of course I'm laughing seeing you have fun watching it too. This is still so good.

You have to swap ‘wenger’ these days, you can get away with changing it to ‘southgate’ and to expand I’ve added phrases such as ‘well you know, it’s a game of 2 halves’ to pad it out. I got to half time before I was rumbled…

Moss's comment about the theater is a reference to a 1960s musical called, "The Roar of the Greasepaint -- The Smell of the Crowd," by Leslie Bricusse & Anthony Newley. While the musical isn't that well known, the duo have done tons of other classic songs over the decades, including songs from a few James Bond movies including "Goldfinger," the score & songs from "Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory," "Victor/Victoria," the song Lois Lane sings while flying with Superman ("Can You Read My Mind?"), Nina Simone's "Feeling Good," etc.

I’ve had it happened to me. I worked in a leisure centre in a gym and the other toilets were out of order. I had a Body Pump class about to start and needed a quick very large number two. It wouldn’t flush and a lady in a wheelchair tried the door: locked. She waited while I kept flushing again and again but it was going nowhere. I panicked, covered it with toilet paper and walked quickly out of the door with my head down and went to teach my class. When I went to reception afterwards to input the numbers of people in my class she had complained to the manager about me, but they thought it was funny.

Weirdly I had nearly the opposite experience visiting New York. I went in to the public toilets of my hotel’s restaurant and inadvertently, and I mean inadvertently, went in to the disabled cubicle. I thought that as there was no one else in the toilets at all I’d be quick and get out rather than change cubicle. Five seconds later someone is banging on the door swing if I’m disabled. I said ‘yeah?’ and just finished up. When I came out the cubicle this bloke started giving me shit about not being disabled (fair enough), but neither was he and he wanted to go in there! We resolved it by me telling him to fuck off and he told me to fuck off and then I left him to his cubicle. But that’s New York I suppose.
