I feel like there’s just a bunch of us all over the world who are part of the “Hitomi lineage” because of how much her videos and online presence has helped us process deep things in our own lives. She’s like our teacher. Her ability to feel so deep has taught and allowed me to feel deep too. She’s such a beam of light

Hitomi is one of the only creators who has managed to not only verbalize the intensity of her pain and trauma so publicly but then goes on to effectively transmute it in displays of tremendous courage and strength in her transparency and her coping strategies.

@@iamafollowerofChrist i dont think so. i am not religious in the sense that i follow any specific belief system. i find my solance in nature and the earth around me. after finding hitomi my whole life changed. my perspective and my ability to handle my bigger emotions. i don't believe in fear mongering and commenting " you need jesus christ" is exactly that. to say that to a stranger on the internet whom you do not know in the slightest is weird and not at all doing the work you think it is. believing that self improvement work & yoga are demonic practices stems from the western world & colonization. perhaps doing research instead of commenting something that is personal to youself & your religion would help you to think before you speak. 🤞🏽

To anyone who's serious about improving their lives: The lesson to be learned is that self-respect and self-love comes first. Never try to compensate a lack of self respect with empty pursuits like the adoration of those around you or from a larger mass like the strangers of the internet. NO ONE will respect you if you don't respect yourself. And to respect yourself means to become INWARDLY honest with yourself RIGHT NOW (regardless of your backstory) so that you can finally take serious action. And the importance is on INWARD honesty because your life is not a circus show/ Keeping up with the Kardashians. Speaking the truth =\= living the truth. You must LIVE the truth.

In the last two years I have completely rejected hook-up culture and I couldn't find the right words as to why. Hitomi put it perfectly 'sharing sexual energy with someone without the context of safety and comfort is drastically different from having that as a baseline'. Thank you, that line gave me resonance chills.

Sometimes I'll listen to podcasts while doing house chores and with this episode I was doing chores too, but from early on I ended up stopping whatever I was doing and just fully immersed myself in this talk. André you really bring on the most inspiring wise beings onto your show, I feel like with every episode I'm just constantly blasted with so much wisdom from both you and your guests. Thank you so much for introducing us to Hitomi, I'm so grateful to learn of her and am happy to now expand my learning even further through exploring her content. I wish we had more like Hitomi in this world. I was depressed 5 years ago, it was the lowest point of my life. A lot happened in my life. I came back to my country Canada from a year long trip in India and readjustment became very hard. I felt lost, didn’t know where I’m belonged to and traveling wasn’t the option due to money issue. In the midst of my struggle, I lost my nephew who was my best friend on Christmas eve, then my pet who was like a baby to me, then my father to cancer, and my breakup, all less than a year. I basically hit the bottom rock. Nothing was the same and I had nobody to rely on. But one thing helped me to go on and that was exercise. I came across Hitomi channel and seeing someone else in this world sharing her weaknesses and struggles and coming of it strong gave me hopes. I didn’t quit loving myself and started doing meditation and yoga and read a lot of self help books which gave me perspectives. I’m not good at story telling, it’s also hard to write or tell about what I went through because it’s retraumatizing sometimes, but I wanted to say how much this beautiful human being helped me along my journey❤

It's a beautiful thing to hear someone just SAY IT. I think we often feel SO ALONE...like, no one else could possibly be dealing with all the heavy shit going on in ones life. So it's SUCH A GIFT to have someone say it OUT LOUD. Only then can many of us realize that YES THERE ARE OTHERS! WE ARE NOT ALONE. I remember first time I heard someone say...I think it was Michael Beckwith...anyway, he said that YOU are unique, YOUR SITUATION is not. That one hit home. But my FAVORITE little anecdote that made me laugh FOR SURE, but also remind myself to just breathe...was this one... A very wise older person once said. "Ain't nothin'so bad that it can't get worse"😂.

I hear you. But i also hear her. Of course not all situations are the same, but if one can be inspired to uplift themselves - in whatever ways the choose and need - that don’t hurt others, and keeps the trajectory in a positive direction, i think that’s a good thing for humanity. But in do hear you. @@jeanlundi2141

I literally had a late night convo w my partner last night about my growth and how sometimes I don’t high five myself for the wonders I’ve grown through. And I mentioned to him… if it wasn’t hitomi mochizuki to speak whatever truths she wanted to share… I don’t think she realized she helped a lot of people save themselves from being swallowed into an abyss. I found hitomi when I was at my lowest, which was around 2016. Just watching her progress and choosing to eat and be around people that made her feel good, encouraged me to do that for myself. She’s so damn inspiring! Keep doing what you are doing !! She also inspired me to make videos and enhance my love for making art and just enjoy life

Wow, it's so interesting hearing her story. I think my story is a bit similar. In adolescence I struggled a lot with body image, social connection, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, self harm, and suicide attempt and thoughts. What I attribute to getting out of it was finding a passion and making connections with people in that passion. But I also started yoga. I am not sure why I did but I loved it and I still practice today more than 10 years later. It calmed me so much, I used to fidget and be restless when sleeping and after yoga that stopped. I felt more connected to my body and years later I added meditation. Meditation helped me cope and come out of anxiety and panic attacks and to calm myself. I'm so glad she shared her story, we do need more people sharing their stories and being authentically themselves. I appreciate it so much when people do this. And now I am on my path to do the same.

amazing podcast! seldom people value the journey of finding our way out of the hole that we dug, with the shovels we were handed by the expectations of others to figure life out with a perfect outcome. we are growing n learning, "we can be real, we are close to God". the intense n often perceived as negative emotions are where we find our genuine selves.

I find it really interesting that she speaks for herself (using I, me, my) and he speaks for others (we, your, you, everyone). Maybe that’s the nature of interviewer but it was a highlighted polarity between them for me.

Thank you so much for sharing this deep and inspirational interview. 🥰 I’m going to be 60 yrs young next month and I can totally relate to this beautiful being. Everything in her past and what’s she’s doing now. She’s living the dream I need to create for myself. This information transcends time. It’s connected soul to soul. Love ✨💖✨

This video poped up on my feed at the right time, thank you so much! i struggle accepting my sexuality and Hitomi has definitely helped me see a different side of acceptace within myself, especially where she mentioned it's not necessary to go back to traumas that are unnecessary to reopen, only if it alines with the present moment. many thanks for this
