Embrilliance Tutorial: PART 2 Embroidered ITH Holiday Quilt Square

THIS IS PART 2 OF THE EMBRILLIANCE STITCH ARTIST CREATIVE CHRISTMAS ITH QUILT BLOCK! In part 1 I go over all of the details and give you tons of ideas on how to create a quilt block only using the shapes and tools that are found inside Embrilliance. I forgot to record one important part though! Ha! I forgot to record how you cut out the tree from the background - a pretty important step.
In this video, I show you again how to create the shape fill it, create an offset inflated outline and then cut that out from the background stippling or motif background. Now your quilt square is ready to stitch!!!

I decided to try using the basics of your video to echo an existing applique I had. Instead of bringing in one of the shapes, I used the placement lines of the applique and traced those, and followed the rest of the steps, then added the entire applique back in and it worked perfectly and looks great! Something I've been wanting to do for quilts for a long time, so thanks for the video!

Go Team Embrilliance! Wow, Sue, I can not believe how much I learn from watching your videos. I have had all modules of Embrilliance for a couple of years and learn little bits here and there by playing and watching videos put out by others. Your teaching style and obvious knowledge of digitizing make it so easy to learn new things that I did not know that the programs could even do. Thank you for all of the wonderful videos!

w had embrilliance and stitch artist 1-2-3 did not know you could do so much with it ,also have hatch which I love thank you Sue for all you Sue for all your classes you are the best

Awesome tutorial! As a quilter though I really dislike the stipple design. I tried editing it’s properties but it just never looks nice/right to me. I’d love to see it improved in a future software update.
