I watched your whole video, ordered some stuffies for christmas, and at the end you called your son Romie and I lost it. The tears would not stop! My son's name was Jerome and we called him Romie. He was killed by an erratic driver who hit him as he was crossing the street 7 yrs ago. I don't embroider but I came across you page a few months back. To get rid of the wss, lay a kitchen towel over it and spray with water, iron over the damp paper towel and all the remaining wss comes out, ideal for intricate designs

I have been making these for years a wee strip of blue painters tape with a chalk mark will keep it centred peel it off before you add topper

When your a total perfectionist. "i don't care if its crooked its for me kids they can't tell" 2 seconds later " its hard to tell if its not straight, i feel this is crooked" then takes it out and does it again lol. Cant get away from loving your work and wanting the best outcome. Love it!!!

Omg I NEED one of these. I keep telling my daughter that when she is ready to give up her baby blanket that we will go to build a bear and put the blanket in the bear as its heart so she will always have blanket with her... yeah 13 and not ready, but this atleast it could be in something most of the time to keep it clean.. at this point every laundry even in a bag I am hoping it doesn't disintegrate!!!

When I used to do this, I would just put a little piece of tape at the end of the stabilizer on top to keep it in place. Doesn't hurt the fabric at all

Just watched your video about five stars. Slipping in and saying "best seller" on top seller with Etsy. Wishing "best seller". Within each homemade/handmade business. I have also experienced (on vacation) that when someone communicated 4+ times over a stretch of a couple days, then wants rush, like early on inconvo and time frame no longer available. Small businesses generally can't handle homemade. 5 stars, you can beat yourself up, little to no sleep and get a 4 star. Argh! Agree with your mindset. Working on advertised craft show for Christmas that hits late November. Etsy put me on some type of "vacation" as I didn't know how to explain my two mini strokes, which affected me mentally. Knitting and crocheting .. sometimes my hands couldn't work deaf on top. I do so enjoy your energy and honesty.

You should add your water soluble underneath the magna hoop same thing with your other stabilizer they should all be hooked

Love your videos! And your beautiful family! I am new new to even using a sewing machine! I just got one for Christmas and haven’t even threaded it yet! I started watching Tok custom to get an idea of how and what I can sew and saw embroidery machine work! I ended up buying a used brother se 400 that will be here tomorrow. Unfortunately given it is 2022 the software to make my own designs is hard to come by or people are price gauging tenfold. Can’t blame people for trying to make money though. Just sucks that many of us cannot afford the pricing.

One handy way to remove The Water soluable stabilizer is to roll Water soluable stabilizer on a tennis ball. Then let it dry. When using The ball wet the ball and roll it over the embroidery. Will remove the small bits so easily. Hope this made sense. You are doing great Job! Keep it up! 😉

I do monogramming on blankets and towels using that water-soluble stabilizer/film. I always baste them all together before hooping. That way the film can stay nicely during monogramming.
