And also we would have seen more focus story about The Off Colors. - how the group are built - seeing Lars character development through out the story, how he and the other gems built the group, got the awesome clothes, how he and the gems get the ship, becoming the leader of the Off Colors, and how the groups rivalry with Emerald started - showing each backstory of the Off Color gems on how they become a fusion and defected by the Diamonds until they hiding on the cave for thousands of years. Imagine how cool it is would be seeing The Off Colors and Emerald's rivalry episode. It would've been cool it gives me a Guardians Of The Galaxy and Star Wars vibe.

Amanda Burruss yes, but she had so much potential. The character design, jinkx monsoon as a voice actor, Rebecca talking about how important she was, the history, there was a lot there, but it never had the chance to develop at all, at least not in the show.

Little late but it’d be soo cool if there was a spin-off series about the travels of the off colours or some other group of characters that could go into more depth about how the whole diamond authority and their whole system works, especially on other worlds outside of earth and homeworld

Fr like as much is Stephen is a cool character it’s kind of annoying to the show revolves around him so we don’t get to see what happens outside of him. I think that a lot of shows will do is follow multiple characters at once. They would have an episode, alternating between different characters or groups of characters, so that we have two or more stories going on at the same time in the story is not focused on one character at the same time. However, since it’s all about Stephen, the whole show us through Stephen lens and we don’t get to really know about stuff that doesn’t have to do with Steven or at least we barely do.

I think they would start off with them stealing the ship and stuff before steven universe future with like a black screen with 2 years before steven universe future, then like maybe if they got a season 2 it would say during steven universe future, then season 3+ Would be after suf also I think in season 3+ Flint and Chert would join as they originally were going to be apart of the off colours were scrapped but then they appeared in suf

Emeralds are a part of the bureaucratic class of gems and are typically used to manage assets and different gem facilities or somewhat lead colonies when diamonds cannot similar in the function to agates.

6:55 I know it has nothing to do with it, but that 'have an emerald' bit really reminded me of when I was younger and I would watch episodes of Top Cat on repeat. There was a character called The Maharaja of Patagooly or something and his only feature was that he was so rich that if you literally opened a door for him, he would give you a ruby. So, a while ago I saw this Reddit thread talking about Peridot and fusing. Specifically, if she and Garnet had successfully fused. I’m not sure, but I think they’d make an Emerald. Hear me out. Peridot is a technician with lots of experience in spaceships. Garnet, as well as homeworld Garnets, are commanders, while also being strategic and hands on. Fusions are also of the status of their components added together. It’s not exact but it’s probably close. A garnet and peridot fusion would likely be friendlier than this emerald, especially as Peridot’s character development went on. But Emerald *is* a spicy and logical character. The “long game” could be mirrored with garnet’s future vision. Not saying emerald has future vision herself, although she does symbolize future vision. Also, the green triangle hair.

I don’t know about malaria, but cholera was largely misunderstood for most of medical history, it basically wasn’t until around the Industrial Age that someone made the solid link with waste and water and it wasn’t until after him we found a way to effectively treat the disease. Water by itself didn’t work since you lose other things during the disease, it needs at least sugars to replace some of the things you lose.

If it's not too much trouble, maybe you could talk about the (non-fusion) garnets (Hessonite, Demantoid, & Pyrope) from the Steven Universe Light Trilogy games! If not, that's okay. After all, those three don't appear in the show except for Hessonite, who only appears as a drawing in the episode "Monster Reunion" and was mentioned by Nephrite in the episode "Legs From Here to Homeworld".

Emerald was originally going to return in Steven Universe Future according to the Crewniverse, but they weren't able to put her in due to time constraits.

That's because they decided to make half of it about steven's puberty and the other half a long ass PSA on PTSD. The PTSD was a good twist to ad in,but it took SO much away from the ending/getting the loose ends tied up and ending final battle with a group hug was just...not even MLP was ever that sappy,and that entire series's universe is powered by FRIENDSHIP. There were just a lot of things they should have done differently and that's MY pet peeve.>_

emerald was the inspector zenigata to the off-colors'/lars' lupin iii. i imagine that after the diamond authority disbands its rule, she either became a space pirate queen herself (and muscled in on lars' territory) or she swears a blood oath vowing revenge.

Thing is that Emerald is my birthstone. So I was both excited, and heavily disappointed that she was a character in the show, but turned into a one shot Colonel clink character. Also interesting note about her design. Her ridge like brow reminds me of the Klingons from Star Trek.

Why are there only 3 diamonds? Answer : The colour is the reason. There are only primary colours for the diamonds. White. Could be a primary colour. But yellow and blue are. Red diamond might be canon to the story. So.... maybe steven universe after future?

I don't think she's coming back, but I'd like her to. She's got a really cool design and Lars is so much more likable and interesting now that they pretty much revamped his character. I like Sadie and Lars apart more than together. I would like to see more of Sadie's partner too. They seemed like a nice and potentially interesting character.

Emerald, if we go along with the diamond authority caste system, are placed in the same ranking as natural garnets.. so like demantoid or hessonite. They are given gems to command, like citrine or nephrite. Given their style of outfit and hair, I can believe this was purposeful of the diamonds.

I would be curious to see some vids about the world of SU. We saw the world map and there were quite a few locations on there that were completely different from the Earth we know. Like, what happened to Russia? Or why was someone drawing Steven in South Korea? My theory on that is Greg had been making some side money selling Steven's story to a manga/anime creator

Regarding the Gem in eye thing can lead to 3 things: A call to the eye of Ra Gem-In-Eye Or for my OC which may or may not be a Multiverse hopping ball of autism, "Eye on the back of your head"
