This video will be the first case study analysis for a hospital department. This case study will be about the Emergency Department (ED).
In the first part, we will have a general brief overview of an emergency department planning and design. This part includes a talk about an emergency department: stakeholders, inter-functional program, intra-functional program, different ED rooms (e.g. Treatment, Exam, Trauma, Psychiatric…etc.), different ED topologies, and trauma center levels.
In the second part, we will analyze the emergency department tour video for the Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.
Finally, we will have a tour video for the emergency department of the Mary Greeley Medical Center. Kindly make your analysis for the Mary Greeley Medical Center ED to get familiar with the hospital departmental analysis.
