A lot of times these emergency kits would also be useful for the adult children who drive just to keep in their vehicle. If they aren’t already, it might be a suggestion to give them to keep a little emergency kit that has some of the basics because you never know when you’re gonna need a lint roller or a safety pin or deodorant.

True;.. although it’s often thought of to keep items for vehicle specific emergencies;.. it would be help to keep a few things in the car and organised for those days when you’ve run out the door in such a hurry, you forgot something. Or if you’re waiting for assistance, like a tow (it happens without being a serious accident) .. it may be nice to have that morale booster.

Just be careful when leaving the kits in the car. Some of the items have a heat warning, like the spray deodorants. With it being so hot in AZ, you may want to not include those if the kit is going to remain in the car.

I have ADHD;.. and in my house I have a wall of hooks that has bags ready to go for every scenario. I check the list that each bag has in the front pocket, just throw my wallet, keys, and phone in whichever bag is coming with me. Vet bag - has pet health files, leash, collapsible bowl, blanket, treats, and water. Shopping bag - reusable bags, trolley tokens, prescriptions, loyalty cards, gift cards etc. I have physical health struggles so I also have pet boarding kits for the times I may be away for more than a night, and a hospital bag ready at all times. - - I’m all about kits;.. they are actually helpful for those with ADHD even more (you don’t have to get overwhelmed about making sure that you have everything for the errand or outing;.. when the bags are always ready to grab and go.

@@nonondriessen I do this is combination with medication, simple visual cues throughout the house, I use whiteboards/memo boards to keep schedules organised;.. and I also have echo dots in every room to broadcast reminders (ongoing general) throughout the day (it assists with time blindness) The backpacks go along the lines of my task kits for home duties (everything needed for a task, is exactly at the site of that task).

@@nonondriessen I never use apps to stay organised;.. that is often the biggest mistake (an phone that shares the distractions of social media, and games;.. with organisation…. Doesn’t work for people who are easily distracted)

Back to school in Portugal is around September. And back to college can be between September/ October depending on the university ( also, being public or private), and there are some who start in February. It's amazing how different it can be around the world!!!

As an assistant preschool teacher I think I’ll make myself an emergency kit. I’m going to add extra clothes and shoes to keep in the classroom. Thanks for the idea.

Yess! I used to do that and I started bringing a backpack with extra clothes, medicine for myself, snacks, and a sewing kit to fix stuffed animals

In the past the families did back to school shopping together. But with growing number of kids, Covid and homeschooling each family does it on his own. The boys from the CM know that the kits exist and can always make one if they want or need to.

Oh so strange! I’m 73 and when I was a teenager I had to whisper in my mamas ear that I needed kotex( pads back in the dark ages) we never spoke about personal hygiene in front of any men or boys. Times sure have changed!

I love when you all do the emergency kits even though I am an adult I still do them. and put stuff that I will need in them Because I think it is good for every age to have a little bit of something for emergency stuff especially as you get older

Thank you for vlogging and sharing this back to school activity. With the extreme heat and school security you might check items which need to be kept out of heat or are limited in time. An emergency kit can also be handy for in your car or office, but check the instructions on your items.

We broke up from school a week ago and go back in September here in the uk. Love your emergency kits been copying for a couple of years. My eldest son always used to have a little bag with sanitary products for his girlie friends xx

Why Benadryl? She has IBS;.. Benadryl made mine worse (nearly killed me literally; it masked symptoms of inflammation and caused a rupture)

I’m 35 on Saturday, and I always have this kind of kit in my backpack,.. I even include a laminated card with important contacts, and a phone card (we do still have some pay phones) (I don’t use a purse, the whole saddle on my side is an odd feeling)

Our local school district starts on August 16th, about a week earlier than in the past when my kids were in school. Charter schools usually start a week earlier than other schools.

Both CM and CP do this already for several years. Though I think the CM started a year earlier, their oldest girls(Destiny, Lacey, Cynthia, Lizzie) being older than Halie and Ariana). The old vlogs are on their main channels.

I had strong menses as a young girl so I always carried a fresh change of underwear. Folds up small to fit in 🎒 bag. Just a tip I thought of while Crystal mentioned the shout wipes.

i strongly suggest do not go to 5below, or claire's, or any kiosk for piercings. please go to a tattoo/piercing shop! the earrings will heal better, faster, and there won't be damage to the earlobe.
