Pretty cool responding & onscene catches. Quite rare to get RNLI responding! ;) Also nice seeing the HART vehicles there. How-ever I wonder why London Fire Brigade didn't attend! Thought they'd have sent a Rescue Unit/Pump and a boat. Here that's a boat, and one or two Rescue Pumps minimum. Second ever person to get a '16 reg Met car btw! ;)

Also the police van BV16UXW shown at 2:58 has what looks like a HEMS crew member (in orange suit) in passenger seat probably taking him back to the helicopter as van is seen at 3:06 alongside the helicopter.

watched not even a minute of this then had to stop it as I couldn't do with the camera shaking about like it was in a washermachine

Sometimes the 999 caller(s) don't give accurate information and/or are not sure of the number of casualties involved. Emergency services act on the information they are given which may account for the large emergency presence shown here. As no detailed facts were given with the video, which only stated 1person in the river, it could actually have involved more than 1 casualty, or have been reported as more than 1, but in the end only 1 needed the HEMS helicopter. Resources in London are stretched so I find it hard to believe that so many units responded unless deemed appropriate from the initial information given. (ex-Met.)

That is an unexpectedly large amount of vehicles for a person in the water, I thought perhaps 2 ambulances and RNLI. I guess it shows how seriously it must be taken. Kudos to HEMS as well. Then you get idiots like that "prankster" who thought it's funny to jump off Tower Bridge into the Thames. ps. that LAS Skoda Octavia has got a flat tyre :/

Anyone else notice the flat tire on the ambulance services vehicle at 2:30 ? they won't be going anywhere fast...
