An emergency treatment for 2nd degree burn from grease using comfrey plant, made into natural salve turns out to be a remarkable first aid homemade burn cream that results with no burn scaring and little to no pain during the healing process. This is now my at home first aid or home remedy for burns and natural medicine for burn pain relief, burn scares, and complete healing from all skin burns during emergency situations. This is certainly going to be a part of my emergency medical supplies for disasters or any grid down situations. The use of the beneficial bacteria Lactobacillus on and in the burn wound kept the chances of infection away and once again proven it's usefulness here at the cabin. I hope you consider the natural ways and plants of our world more when it comes to your preparedness and health. I received an E-mail from a recipient of one of the jars of the very Comfrey Salve that I made during a video and wanted to share the testimony mail with others. It is as follows and exactly as I received it minus his personal e-mail and last name: "Hey, I hope yall are doing well. I dont know if you remember me but you sent me a jar of your comfrey salve as a gift for catching clues in a video. I wanted to let you know that stuff is awesome. I recently had a mishap while sharpening my chainsaw and instead of going to a doctor I pushed my skin back together and applied gauze and tape with this salve liberally applied. Within a week it has healed tremendously and the whole time it kept the pain to pretty much non existent. Well i figured i would drop you a line and let you know how much that has helped me and see how yall were doing especially with all this other stuff going on in the nation. I worked at a dry cleaners and got my hand caught in the ironing press, these were the very large ones, I had second and third degree degree burns the hospital dressed it and wanted to do skin grafts, my friend had comfrey cream and treated my hand everyday for a week, no skin graft needed, you wouldn't even know now I was burnt, I now make my own, I swear by it, I give it to my friends and neighbours

I just got a second degree burn on “10-02-2022” on my left foot when boiling water fell on it. I initially went to an urgent care center (I live in a big city in the Northeast U.S.) and some treatment, but it was not good treatment. I did some research and the medical profession recommends that for bad burns you must go to hospital that has a burn unit staffed by specialized medical professionals that know how to treat a different types of burns. I wish I had seen your video earlier, I could have saved a lot of time, effort, and money doing it your way. If you have any comfrey salve for sale, I am willing to pay whatever to get it to my home. Because of this injury everything has come to an abrupt stop in my life. It is not good feeling going from being a productive member of society to becoming an unproductive member of society. I was just telling a friend, today to try comfrey for a hip sprain. I grow it out in my garden along with other medicinal's. I also LOVE Mullein for first aid too! Great video!

Well I think you'll see in a couple of others vid that I just simply butcher them down and leave only a couple of leaves left. I take flowers and all if the have reached that point. Then I chop it all up a little and dry it or use it in the liquid fertilizer. I'll be showing me making the balm asa I can. Thanks.

Central Texas here May 2022. 8pm I slammed my shin into something. It hurt BAD. (I have high level of pain.) I hobbled to my comfrey plants. Cut about a cup (chopped). Added coconut oil. Just enough to make it stick together. Piled it on top of my shin (2" x 4" area) that was already turning blue. Put gauze on top. Then, wrapped it with the stretchy , looooong gauze. Next morning: black and blue It felt very soft....like it wanted to turn into a hematoma. Also had a 1" bright red line. Did not apply another poultice. I had a normal day and walked around, up and down...normal stuff. It cleared up in 4 days. Amazing stuff. I'm now collecting/frying leaves to have on hand. And for Christmas 🌲 presents! 👍✝️❤️🙏

I would love to know more. I have had third degree burns bad enough on my hands that after 20 years I still have no fingerprints on those fingers. After the adrenaline wears off the pain is off the charts. I am an hour from a hospital also. Love the country, but need more prepared items. Thank you for showing us what you did. Amazing story….you looked like you did an incredible job with this wonderful herb…ordered some last year and today being inspired by your story and that you made the salve yourself dried and ground up what I had growing in the garden…have to keep my comfrey in afternoon shade here in coastal Georgia …such an incredibly diverse herb that I use as chop and drop as well as fertilizer …whew 😩…thank you for sharing the life of a homesteader who does it all…without a doubt one of the best and most understandable hands on knowledge helping us all …will have to make the lacto bac spray soon as possible to have on hand and add to the herbal tinctures…stay blessed …

thank you thank you so much for posting I have a big patch of comfrey and my husband got burned bad at work on his arm and of course did not say anything now its is four days infected I put on tree tea lavender frankincense and colloidal silver and going outside to make me a poultice I have used comfrey for strains etc but now I am glad for burns I am a new subscriber now and got to make some salve so off to find that recipe

Ionic silver is supposed to help burns too. I've tried it for burns (not as severe as yours) and it helped.

Just seeing this and because recipes can vary please show us how you make it or even just the recipe if you prefer... this happened to me little over a year ago and the pain was pretty bad .. was second degree also. That would probably work and make sense but I think I have found out now that all things seemed to heal better and quicker with no pain. It turned out better than using silvadene. Using the labs insured no infection set so I have to give credit to them as well.

Haha, i totally share ur views about going to the emergency room 😋 for burns u could also use homeopathic arnica 200c and cantharis 200c 😊 homeopathics are affordable, easy to use, keep practically forever and helpful (sometimes even miraculous). My favorite homeopathic info comes from joette calabrese. Greetings from finland; i also live here in the middle of nowhere 😅

I am interested in your methos for the salve and LABS. Very interesting seeing what all is available and works. I had an incident while welding and had a similar burn and i dont do dr or "pharmaceutical candy" i used pure raw honey i got locally and used pure aloe gel from my own plant. Everyday i added both to my arm after blowing pure oxygen from the torch (not lit, haha) into my wound. Took 2-3 weeks completely healed but was touchy the whole time.

Everyone should have a spray or dropper bottle of LABS in their office, right on their desk. Because, two words - PAPER CUT!! CRIkeys!! I've been walking around with one that's been hurtin' like the dickens all day. Then it HIT me! DUH! One light spray of LABS and voilà! It's still a little bit red around it and I can feel some residual discomfort, deeper in that finger if I press on it pretty hard but I just sprayed it a couple of minutes ago, so, it's pretty amazing stuff. Actually, it would probably be best if everyone just carried some sort of little spray bottle of LABS around with them, everywhere they go. Mine's in a little nasal spray bottle. Right side up it's a spray and upside down it's like a dropper. Pretty handy. I don't know why I didn't think of it - I just walked around, whining about the pain of it for an entire day...ROFL! I HATE paper cuts!! Well...I guess it would be more accurate to say that I DID hate paper cuts. Now, who cares? Simple fix.

I know a better one. VINEGAR For small ones, just soak a paper towel for like a good 20mnt and if get a big ones use a cloth towel soak it and cover for a good two or more hours on it. Reapplying three times at day and about a week is would be gone . It burn just in case. I was a chef for more that 12 years and I have encountered burns daily, mash potatoes oatmeal hot oil and the oven doors. I have not one Mark on my arms thanks yo VINEGAR

I have heard of using the vinegar also I am a firm believer in it for many reasons. Great for you sharing, I appreciate that. The only thing for me is actually sitting down or taking the time to do as you say for 3 times a day. Not sure if I have the discipline to do so. I do remember using the vinegar for bad sunburns growing up too. Thanks.

I make comfrey balm, with oil and wax, but I like the look of your one, and what you use as a base, it almost looks like lanolin, but I'm guessing it might be pork or some soft animal fat. Impressive results, I agree with going to hospital and their hideous antibiotics that kill your immune system, right at the time you need it most. I just can't see the point of going to hospital or doctor for anything, well maybe a compound fracture.

I am so sad that even though I grew up on a huge farm where we had all these medicinal plants,we actually never used them on ourselves. We only gather them daily for food for our farm animals (lots of animals).We were still pumped with pharmaceuticals unfortunately, and our whole family is still paying the price,some worse than others.Thankfully,in 2000,I moved to US and learned about all this natural ways of living,but I wasn't able to get the 100% organic food that I had at home anymore,even from farms we have close by.Back home,there were absolutely no fertilizer or other "natural and organic" soil like people use here even in organic farming.We only used manure from our 100% grass fed animals. The worst thing right now is that I live in a condo,and I so miss having a house with a big yard where I could grow lots of thing (a farm is pretty much impossible to even dream of). Thank you for your videos.I am in the middle of making your comfrey salve,but not sure how fresh is my dry organic comfrey I bought online.

Also... what they say about comfrey.. is NEVER use it on a wound that is draining, or large... because it will cause the wound to heal so fast, that all the drainage may not get out...... :) you want to make sure the wound has stopped draining and is ready to heal.
