Stop apologizing for Russian imperialism. Ukraine is a sovereign nation whose security Russia promised to protect. Instead Russia invaded Ukraine under completely false pretense after attempts to topple its democracy through hybrid warfare failed. The war could stop tomorrow if Russia withdrew its troops. Instead Russia continues to sacrifice ethnic minorities and other impoverished Russians in the meat grinder. Agreements with Russia under Putin aren't worth the paper they are written on. Your comment is, at its very best, completely hypocritical.
