Hello and welcome to scale stuff, in this weeks video I am going to be building and reviewing the Emhar 1:72 MK IV WW1 Tank kit Number. EM 5001
In this video I make and paint the whole model and point out a few bits in the kit that you will need to watch out for if you are making this model at home
Over all, for the price, this is a good model but it does have a few issues. At some points the kits instructions kind of leave you to it and lacking locating pins some part placement can be a little hard. The decals in the model kit are probably the worst part of the kit as they are a little thick and shiny. This model could do with a gloss layer been added before the decals go on with a follow up matt coat to seal them in.

Thanks mate its ok I did another one straight after and got a much better effect on it, Emhar are nice budget kits but with all of them the decals are really thick and you always seem to get ghosting,Iv started to hand paint markings with these kits now rather than try and deal with the shine

Give them a go there good models but watch out for the decals, they are really thick and tend to get silvering really easy.Thanks for stopping by and thanks for the comment :)

Very interesting work there. It's also interesting, and amazing the elastic bands you have used for position like you told. It gave the impression that the model kit is finished as well. Keep up the work. P.S. Your channel is amazing. I love it.

Thank you I think the decals let this kit down abit,Ow with the elastic bands they are a real game changer for adding tracks to tanks, they hold everything in and insure a good finish, sometimes you needs to use three or four though to get the pressure across the whole track. Ill pop over and check them out,I had a look a few days ago but had to shoot off before I could get settled,the subjects you choose to make are interesting though nice to see things made that are not of the normal line of planes and paint schemes

Thank you, Yeah the decals are the worst bit of the kit, and they do stand out like a sore thumb.From past XP with Emhar decals weathering them just makes the decal stand out even more, the next model I do from them Im just going to paint the markings on as then it all blends in with the rest of the kit

iv the Emhar wooden tank in 135th scale I cannot think name off my head it's wooden tank well looked it ill look up the name the whipped tank that's the one i have I done some millitary tanks and stuff I'm only still a learner 3 half years I picked up my first model and started but im getting there well I think I am improve in learn more every day ,👍

The whippet by Emhars not a bad kit its the decals that let these kits down more than anything.Ah 3 years is nothing in the modeling world you end up looking back and almost generations of kit where you do things one way and then change, And you never get to old to mess a kit up.Ive been making kits 20 years and the last kit I made I litrally melted into a pulp,just dont be afraid to try new things on cheaper kits its the best way to learn
