Kathie J and Emily talk about Horizon HS and what it was like to be a young girl growing up in Denver. Emily opens up about how her dreams of becoming a model were shattered by rape, but ultimately led her on a path of healing and personal growth, culminating in her being crowned Miss Colorado for America 2021. In addition to her pageant success, Emily is also an author and a self-help advocate, proving that the journey towards self-discovery and fulfillment is a continuous one.
