Emily Sison Just SHOCKED The World by Doing This!
2023 has started to a fast and competitively hot start! All eyes in the distance world were on the Chevron #HoustonMarathon this past weekend, despite the fact that college students all over the nation are returning from winter break and athletes like #AbbySteiner are starting their indoor seasons.
The shorter competition has also received even more attention since #EmilySisson decided to take the authentic world by storm and stun everyone.
What happened in Houston? In case you missed the action, here's all you need to know.
The year 2022 ended at one of Houston's best feel-good starts, thanks to Keira D'Amato. The 37-year-old mother of two broke the record that was set by the legendary Deena Kastor in 2006 by winning the Chevron Houston Marathon in the quickest time ever by any American woman - 2 hours, 19 minutes, 12 seconds. She had previously given up competitive racing years earlier.
