We’ve been doing elf on the shelf for 2 years and this is our 3rd year doing it-our daughter is 6 and has a half brother. I just wanted to thank you for sharing some new elf ideas (at least new to us). So thank you for the great ideas and saving me a few days of worrying and more fun!

New to Elf this year. Thank you for your video

So fun to watch! Our Elf has done many of these things! One of the naughtiest pranks last season was to put toothpaste and hand lotion between Oreo Cookies. My boy is 13 now, and I feel I'm out of ideas since we've been doing it since he was 3 or 4.

I'll be keeping these ideas for next year as I think my son being 2 is a little too small. He's even been in the same room with all of his Xmas presents and he has no idea 😂 luckily he has a double wardrobe, so half of it is chock a block with presents!! Cannot wait for Xmas bring a bit of joy to this year 💜

Last year I did the Elf on the shelf for my son who was 2 at that time and I used so many of your ideas. My son absolutely loved it and this year he keeps asking when the Elf is coming back and looks very much forward to the naughty stuff that he does! Honestly he seems more excited for the Elf to arrive than Santa haha 😂 Thanks for more brilliant ideas that I can use this year ❤️

I’ve had elves for so so long. first I had an elf named Mistletoe. my family has had her since i was 2 years old, in 2010. sadly, she passed away when i was 10, in 2018. that was 3 years ago. due to her watching spot, sitting on a wall-lamp high up in the kitchen, my mom didn’t notice her and turned on the kitchen lights. later we smelled burning, and we found out her leg was almost completely burnt off, and her butt was burned too. I think we still have her, but that was one of her first hiding spots for december. (mistletoe had a different face from most commen elves. her face was skinnier and she had higher cheeks. she had light skin as well.) that year, a few days after mistletoe passed, a new elf arrived. we named her glisten. we found her in 2019. glisten found some very creative ways to do stuff. from stringing toilet paper all around the tree and the ceiling fan to go ziplining, eating an oreo in the fridge, or sitting in a bag of marshmellows. glisten later sat in a stalking with her passed away friend, mistletoe on her back, who barely had any magic left. (glisten has tan skin, and a the more common face of elves like the ones in the video.) this year, in 2021, I got an elf for myself! her name is peppermint. peppermint will begin watching us tomorrow, on december first, with her new friend glisten! hopefully they’re friends and not arche enemies causing a war in our house. (peppermint is a mix of mistletoe and glisten. she has the color of mistletoe and the face of glisten.) so, I have two elves this year! I’ve had 3 elves in my lifetime. how to revive your elf on the shelf if you accidentally touch it! : (I’ve touched mistletoe twice and glisten once. it luckily worked with mistletoe, but I dont think it works more than twice in one elf.) 1. place your magicless elf on a papertowel. 2. sprinkle cinnamon around the elf. careful! dont get it on them! 3. have you and your family sit with the elf and sing a christmas carol all together. I do jingle bells. 4. write a note to santa or your elf, apologizing. make sure you mean it! and dont do it again! and there you go! your elf will be back the next morning, or in a few mornings.

This is so cute and creative. I never had elves visit me growing up and I've got no kids but I just invited my first elf over to my home, Holly! She probably has the easiest or most boring job in the world since there's no kids to watch lol. she also doesn't move around much, but she sits next to my other large huggable elf on the shelf and they sure love to keep eachother company :)
