no its because dr.dre , a huge name in the music industry at the time , sign this "white kid" who could spit shit out his ass and make it a song. everyone was shocked Dr.Dre would sign a would kidn, so everyone though that he must have extemporaneous amount of talent , which he does.

+Mrdontmess1996 dre just opened the door for him. He's not fully responsible for how big Eminem got. Eminem got big because he worked hard at it and didn't stop till he got there. This is one of the top selling and most respected artists in MUSIC history. Don't pin all his success to Dre. Dre didn't write his thousands and thousands of lyrics sheets for him. He just opened the door and Eminem took that to another level.

i love this song! at this time when everything is just broken. ive benn so depressed for two years.but i keep moving forward with all that on my shoulders, i don't give up. i usually go to my bed and play this song over and over 'till i fall asleep. i know i gotta change this and better myself! it's just hard and really complicated.

I love all of eminems songs but this 1 stands out the most to me it's got me through alot of dark tough times mentally and made me develop a never give up life mentalty and to keep grinding and fighting and when the time comes that I'm dead and gone and laid to rest in my coffin I want this song to be played at my funeral

I had a huge brain tumor on my left frontal lobe removed in Nov 2010 & when i came home in Dec 2010 i wasnt feeling so beautiful with the top of my head shaved & limited mobility on my right side & listening to this song over & over again made me work ever harder to get better & not just sit on my ass & feel sorry for myself, being 36yrs old at the time & thinking WTF! but i did it, i got the use of my right side back & i am now walking in my own shoes thanks Emimen! The tumor came back though

i think the reason why a lot of people like eminem is because his songs exemplify feelings that we all have, nut he just expresses those feelings better than we ever could. its kinda cool to know that someone else knows how you feel and thats what i get out of a lot of eminems songs i guess

Idk I've been though a lot in life; who hasn't? I try to stay happy and upbeat but cant at times. I have the thing called OI, OCD, depression, dealing to a dumb as* step grandfather thing and some more; I'm Bisexual so I get looked down on for that. When I listen to Eminem all my problems disappear. He makes me feel better about who I am. If he ever quit I would lose myself; I feel like a soldier. I'm beautiful! No one can tell me I'm not!!
