The Eminem Show is by far my favourite Eminem album. As a kid I literally learned all of his songs on this album and in my teen years I was deciphering his bars, breaking down his flow/rhyme schemes. Nothing came close. This was one of my favourite tracks, because I liked the transitions between Em and Dre.

Dre may want all the smoke, but Eminem writes his best lyrics for Dre to rap in his versus. That's another sign of that fierce respect and undying loyalty that Em has for Dre. Always takes his lyrical game to the max and probably rewrites it until it's as close to perfect as it can be before he gives it to Dre to use, and Eminem will NEVER want to take any credit for writing Dre's lyrics and would deny if Dre asked him to and take it to the grave, but that respect goes both ways and that's why Dre proudly admits that Eminem writes his verse

THE REAL REASON WHY EMINEM KEEPS ON LOOKING DIFFERENT! "he is supposed to be dead, and a permanent clone that needs a new replacement body every 6 months to a year. He helped NWA reach the mainstream, did it again with Snoop, then again with Pac and then EM and 50. BUT he ain’t a rapper. He’s a producer that raps stuff other people write for him and it’s been like that since Cube use to write his stuff, then D.O.C, then snoop, pac, em , jay z and Royce.

People saying Eminem is the only reason Shaq is big is kind of untrue. Of course Em gave him the opportunity but it’s his personality that allowed him to get the most out of it and get to the level he’s at now. That’s just my opinion tho

Agreed, Em' could've shined a light on some random uninteresting nobody who works an office job and the internet would forget about the guy in a week or two. the Em shoutout definitely played a role in his success but not as big as people make it seem. Shaq's an interesting individual with an entertaining personality, he's funny and very respectable.

Yeah surprisingly most reactions I've seen to it sleep on that line, and just ppl generally. Not that I'm a Trump fan but I liked him better when he was anti establishment. Now I listen to Tom Macdonald the way I used to listen to Eminem.

I remember when this came out. It was because Jermaine Dupri was talkin shit about Dre only putting out 1 album and some other shit too basically saying Dre was overrated and I think he said he was a better producer than Timbaland too or something like that. It's been a long time so I only vaguely remember parts of it, but that's why Dre and Em did this track.
