@@RANDOMFIX I had all the modules ready except the catalyst Then misfire from head gasket I will need to redo it again getting a small bit of coolant in cylinder 1.

@@RANDOMFIX Thanks for responding. I also tried the drive cycle mentioned in 11:19 from the link you provided. What's crazy is if I use Stage 1 tune, FUEL is ready when I complete the 20-30 MPH for 3:15min drive cycle. Anyway, I'm all set for another 2 yrs :) Have a good one!!

Are you trying to pass a SMOG in CA? You actually do not need the fuel monitor to be ready to pass smog. The Continuous monitors are ignored on CA smog checks. Not many inspectors know this so you get some resistance to them running the test but just ask them to please run the test. It will pass. If you would like to see where this information is search for "CA On-Board Diagnostic Test Reference " See section C footnote 3

Hi Thomas you might be okay with just the evap not ready but this depends on your state. As of august 1st 2023 I believe the evap needs to be ready in California but I’ve heard otherwise from viewers kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gNiIgqSH0LGYYnk.htmlsi=7ZNOAl-sJvkp6qZx In Oregon for example the evap must be ready, so there are many rules depending where you live. I would call a local shop and i am planning on making a video about looking it up for yourself next week. And not to rub in Texas in my county there is no smog tests! Good luck and keep me posted.

Brand new? Check to make sure your battery is ideal and start vehicle and just it idle for 20 minutes and drive around town for 15 minutes at 35 to 45 mph. Out of curiosity why do you need a smog on a 2020+ vette?

@@RANDOMFIX Because of the insane CA markups, I purchased it in PA and got it at sticker price. CA requires all vehicle with out of state registrations to get a smog check. Even though the car has a sticker that says it was built to CA emission standards.

I hear on the markup bs that dealers are adding on! Check all the o2 connections and connectors. Just un clip and click the connector back on. Honestly I had a similar situation with another viewer and the poor guy got the run around for a few months. I actually just text him and when he provides me the vette specific drive cycle I will forward it to you. Please check in with me in 5 days.

Probably already got this resolved but for future reference GM does not allow some monitors to run in the first 1000 miles of the cars life. You can go to the state Referee and get a passing test with the Monitors incomplete as long as the car is CA equipment equipped and is under 1000 miles.

It depends on the make model and condition of the vehicle. What are you driving and I will send the exact drive cycle that explains it on video so your are not driving around wasting fuel.

@@RANDOMFIX guys. Just make sure it’s done 15 cycles and you’re good.. had to find out the hard way in California. 15 cycles and it’s not clear take it anyways and they are required to do it manually and it’ll pass

@@RANDOMFIX went online did some research on BAR in the state of CA and it says if it doesn’t clear after 15 cycles they need to check it manually . Went in and they did it manually, passed
