I actually encountered a toilet on a high platform with stairs leading to it in the wild recently. I desperately needed a bathroom and my partner stopped at the first gas station we happened upon. I go in the convenience store, ask if they have a bathroom and head that way. At this point I should mention that because of a catastrophic foot wound I’m virtually wheelchair bound and only allowed to walk when it’s ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. It was DEFINITELY necessary. Those stairs were steep as Hell, but I was a person on a mission. Getting down was abso-fucking-lutely terrifying but when you gotta go, you gotta go. Next time, if I ever have to stop there again, I’m shitting on the floor and telling them to cry over the ADA about it.

There have been times in my life that my mom could afford to pay for hot water (whether it be electric or gas sometimes it just wasn't possible). So she boiled some water, ran the cold water in to cook it off. And bathed me in a big plastic bin. And honestly I loved it it was so much fun to me. I really like that you try not to be mean to the ones that are just weird, and only pick on the ones that are actually grotesque, dangerous, or poorly done. Also, the antenna at 56:31 is done that way because it's too long to drive on residential roads without being a hazard because of overhead lines, so that cable to the hood is to hold it down so it's not too long. Though, why he would need such an antenna, which is typically reserved for high-gain radios used by like the military when in the middle of nowhere, is beyond me.
