I just finished the movie on Netflix and came here. I had to listen to this song twice during the end credits and waited until the song list to find out for myself. So surprised and happy to know the actor wrote and sang it. Such a perfect song to end the story. No one could have done it better than Mr. Knightley himself!

What a perfect song to end Emma! It completely sounds like it could have been written in the time of Emma, while still sounding modern, not to mention very catchy. Well done, Johnny Flynn. It comforts me in the feeling that he understood Mr. Knightley fully and lend him his personal brand of sweetness to bring the character to life. A lovely song for a wonderful movie. I'll venture to say that Jane Austen would be proud of "Queen bee". I cannot think of a better compliment.

I was hospitalized for a few weeks for a surgery, Emma was one of the movies i can watch there and I put it on background almost all the time because I like all the songs so much.

I've been playing this song over and over in the car, it's extremely calming in hectic traffic conditions. I only wish they could have filmed an extra clip of Johnny Flynn singing this as Mr. Knightley to Emma :)

How many times have I listened to this?! It is so romantic and it really was just the cherry on top for the movie. I love the movie, read the book because of the movie, and I just adore this movie more and that's rare. The color palette was very pleasing and I loved all the songs. Very calming. Great movie! Very English folk. Not central to the broad genre but the roots are clear. Hear the calling, phrasing & structure which sometimes appears in English hymnals and, much lower in the mix, in southern music in USA. To that, I tip my hat deeply to our Scots & Irish brethren. Does anyone know who composed and the title of the beautiful orchestral piece of music playing in the background when Emma and Harriet were sitting on that gorgeous sofa in that stately home please. It is divine. The film is fantastic and it is as though you could imagine yourself transported back to the Regency era. The settings, the acting is sublime. Jane Austen was an incredible woman whose insight into human nature was incredible.. Thank God for Jane Austen. She is known and loved the world over. I wonder how she would react if she could see her legacy.
