Just a quick comment for now, Emma and Amira Willighagen are both Dutch, and have both been featured by Andre Rieu on his stage in Maastricht, Amira has gone on to become a well known singer, she's living in South Africa now, Emma is at present touring with Andre as a guest singer in his 2024 world tour, she's still only 16, so all sorts of restrictions due to being legally a minor, as well as the limitations of tube feeding due to her illness, gastroparesis, which has her tied to feeding tubes 22 hours a day, and it'a also why she's so tiny, her growth was delayed by the disease and it also has given her problems with her stamina, she doesn't have the energy reserves that would be normal for her age, and carrying around the equivalent of a boat anchor for 22 hours a day is a challenge, but as you will discover, she's a warrior, and doesn't easily admit defeat. Her signature video is 'Voila', we'll talk about that when you get on to the later parts of this story, as it's an amazing story that needs telling in a lot more detail.

Shakes-P, I'm so glad you are enjoying the Talent of this amazing Young lady Emma Kok. Emma Kok : Born March 12, 2008 in Maastricht Netherlands, and grew up in Kerkrade. Her parents, Vico and Nathalie Kok are both Musicians who met at a concert hall. Emma has two siblings, a Brother named Enzo, and a sister named Sophie. Her Brother is a Violinist, and her Sister is a Classical singer. Emma's story: Emma has gastroparesis, a rare disease, her stomach is paralyzed and she connot digest her food. She has been dependent on a feeding tube machine since the age of nine months. In 2023, Emma founded Ministars/GASTROSTARS the non-profit foundation to help patients with gastroparesis. In June 2021, Emma won the tenth season of The Voice Kids Netherlands under the coaching of rapper Ali B. In August of that year, she sang at a benefit concert for the victim's of the 2021 European floods in Limburg. In February 2023 Emma also won the inaugural season of Ministars.
