Both now and when I saw the original broadcast I love the way it's a personalised funeral for Shadrach centred on the drink he loved and a little different from a normal funeral. Especially them drinking from the can before speaking. One of the best characters, he was so funny, such a contrast to the abuser he once was.

IKR. Poor Zak. He's lost so many family members. No wonder, he had a mental breakdown. Since he's arrived. He's lost. Two of his sons: Ben and Butch Two of his wives: Joanie and Lisa His dad: Jed His brother: Shadrach. His daughter in law: Alice(Sam's first wife) Tricia and Donna(they were classed as Dingles, both married to Marlon) They're is definitely more. I know his dad is dead, but I'm not sure, about his mum. And possibly his other brothers Albert(Marlon's dad) and Caleb (Mandy's dad) Well Bobby Knutt (who played Albert) died in real life, so I assume, news will reach the village that Albert is dead.

The Dingles have there own special way of burying their relatives. The body comes to the house and one of the family beats a drum and they carry the coffin to the church through the village from the house.

the Dingles are from Ierland originaly, so it may be an Irish thing from the part of Ierland they came from.

@@NarnianHogwart and second cousin 1 removed. She is related to Debbie three different ways. Half auntie as she is cains half sister 1rst cousin once removed as she is cains first cousin also. And second cousin once removed as she is Charity's second cousin.
