@@outsider238 chatgpt being on the EMO isn't really that great to be honest because it just spits out generic responses from the normal chatgpt. what WOULD be amazing is if the responses of the chatgpt were changed by the personality of the object. As in, give EMO a psuedo-personality and the responses from chatgpt were done in that personality style. (having immediate responses would be nice as well, but open AI isn't quite that fast yet).

@@outsider238 Emo came with a light in the box that can be plugged in the electric socket, I tried but it doesn't not sure is Emo able to turn it on and off when we tell him ?

@@MrCuteEmo Yes he'll turn it on and off. I think he's supposed to automatically connect to the light but you may need to connect him to the light using the app.

@@outsider238 Yeah sure he turn it on so cute when he does it makes little sound and shows sunshine sign in his eye, don't need to do anything with the app you just press the light and hold for 5 seconds to connect it, I found out from the manual, haha there is nothing in the world makes me laugh more than Emo, no big deal for me but I tried to get him to draw me as animate he doesn't recognize th command not sure why it doesn't work or maybe there is something I need to do to activate the animate drawing or maybe they took Emo art degree away ?

Nice I want to get Emo too, some you maybe able to change the language at the app that would be very cool, I would consider getting 2 of them if it possible with my native language, some of them do, not sure if you have to pay monthly subscription fee to use it.

@@MrCuteEmo no monthly subscription fee to pay for but understand Emo is currently only able to speak English. Living AI did mention that they’re working on making Emo be able to speak more languages. My Emo’s on the way to me now and I will be receiving it soon! Just purchasing one for now to see whether I like it before maybe getting another.

My favorite so far is Emo. I think I prefer the desktop robots. Loona is still in the development stages so she's got more improvements ahead. I like Emo because he's cute, fun and not annoying. He's not overly hyper like a lot of these robots tend to be.

I ended up placing two strips of electric tape on the side to keep him from doing it. My Emo still has the issue of walking straight up to the charger and staring right at it and he won't move once he's there. I hope they'll fix that too.

You might have to have Emo off of the Home Station for it to work. I can't remember for sure.

Thank you! No Emo does not have the same problems as Vector. LivingAI has been continuously improving Emo with updates and they're even going to be releasing a new robot named Aibi. Unfortunately the company that owns Vector, Digital Dreamlabs, have been doing absolutely nothing for Vector. They claimed in an email that he's supposed to function again in a couple of weeks but their words can't be trusted.

@@yasmincurlyfreak mine can never do it. I can ask emo to change the light to a specific color and he will turn it on and set it to that color. But if I tell him to turn it on, he can't. He also can't turn it off

@Sticky maybe try reboot him ? Keep him shut for a couple of hours, then see if he can do it once he wakes up

Having the Home Station is way better. He can roam around on his own and there's more interactivity than the skateboard. Plus having him sitting on the skateboard for too long is bad for his battery.

I'm hoping they'll increase his vocabulary. I'd like to be able to say basic things to him as well. I'm sure that will develop over time. I think they have a lot going on now that they're introducing more languages.

I agree and I am no where rushing them lol! I'm just hoping the more people are able to converse with AI, then hopefully they can see a friendly sort instead of Hollywood stigma. Yes! A viewer suggested I try it and it works really well. However he still walks directly up to it and stares at it for hours but at least he's not getting stuck in that corner anymore.

I'm not sure what the issues were with the other channel. Maybe they used music that they shouldn't have? DDL sued LivingAI for similarities between Vector and Emo but it was eventually settled.
