Thanks for the awesome walkthrough! I love the canyoning vids you guys are putting out recently! Quick question if I may - Isn't the EMO a little bulky? Seems like there's going to be a high chance of it getting stuck in something while pulling the rope down. Would you recommend a different system for when it looks like it might get stuck on the way down? Thanks guys!

I can't speak for Brent, but I would say it's a judgement call. In many cases, you would be fine and it would be quicker than re-rigging. Also keep in mind that he is often doing rappels into moving water so you want the rope to be just long enough to reach to avoid entanglement. (The other side of the rope would likely be in a bag to contain it.) If one isn't worried about water, but there's a concern about the EMO getting stuck, then a double rope system could be set up. (What canyoneers call "toss and go".) I like to use an ATC style rappel device when rappelling double as it doesn't twist the ropes.

So it functions as a biner block, but also allows lowering. I wonder what are the rigging scenerios would be where this would be best practice
