I AM EMOTIONAL. Oh my gosh! Neuvillette’s story quest was so sad! Carole and Vautrin were both so incredible and kind. It's so unfair what happened to them. Playing this was like being stuck inside a Greek tragedy. My heart is in shambles… that being said, it was so insightful to learn more about Neuvillette’s backstory. It also doesn’t hurt that Navia, Clorinde, Sigewinne, and Wriothesley all showed up briefly hehe anyways, I hope you enjoy my Neuvillette Story Quest Reaction and Playthrough from Genshin Impact’s version 4.1 update!

@@Enoden7987 I haven't played the majority of them tbh haha I got super burnt out on Genshin and stopped playing for quite a while. Fontaine is what reignited my excitement hehe I know I've played Childe's character story and maybe a few others, but most of them I've yet to unlock/play, at least I'm pretty sure this is the case

@@himetsukichmy personal favorite is itto, dehya, and yoimiya act II character story those story are good! but i think you should play the one that you have most interest for the character. Because i think your walkthrought is the best when you enjoy the story and simping for the character hahaha. My other suggestion is you can play the new event story because theres a lot of liyue and monstadt character in it and i think it will be fun to see you play it

I think it is not like Vautrin didn’t accept the consequences of his vengeance nor he realised it after the judgement. He meant to argue and complain about Neuv, so that it shows everyone that Neuv is really unbiased and able to make the most righteous decision. He easily built up the reputation of Neuv by doing so.

At the end when Kiara said she saw Carole in her dreams and Carole was happy, saying their dreams came true.. it felt like that while she wasn't there physically to witness, her spirit did and she could find both joy and peace. I wept..

It really did feel bittersweet. What happened to Carole and the impact it had on Vautrin and Neuvillette was so tragic, but I agree. The ending has a hopeful tone

So it's super easy to miss, but at the end of the quest, you can find a letter on his desk from Furina regarding his leave of absence. It's honestly super sweet

Furina, referring him to meet and know "his" people made me believe she always intended to give back the rule of Fontaine and the power in the gnosis restoring his full dragon sovereign authority

@@himetsukich if you missed it, then no worries. You can look it up online from the wikia or something. The replied message simply reads from Furina saying "About time you finally got out of your desk. You should get to know your people more often, like me!"

I've been watching lots of different people play this story quest because it made such a big impact on me. I really appreciate the way you stop and talk about your interpretation of events and the symbolism and feelings involved, you're very well-spoken and emotionally intelligent! Keep it up!

Thank you so much! This quest was so bittersweet. So sad, but the ending had a very optimistic tone. I love what it did for Nevui's character development, but I'm still devastated over Carole and Vautrin 😢

Huh, because she's playable? thats the only reason, or else we would have many other human-like Melusines. I'm sure Hoyo wouldn't want to make a playable character to look like a full furry creature

@@UniversoCrossoverOficial this is likely the reason, and it's incredibly cowardly of them to not have faith in an actual Melusine to sell well 😔 It's even more disappointing because EVERYONE loves the Melusine so I think it was pretty pointless to make her a human looking character.

Knowing HoYo, they're probably avoiding needing to bring something that gives them even more to animate...like, melusines are struggling to hold a pen...basically they have slim boxing gauntlet-like hands, and if they did study martial arts, the amount of stances they can do are very limited given those hand shapes Try using weapons while you guys are using boxing gauntlets, that should be pretty close to what difficulties normal melusines are having to wield a weapon

Paimon being "big sister" is some foreshadowing if i see one. Also the melusine in the world quest said she sees Paimon has a string that extends way above the sky itself.

it's really sad and beautiful at the end, when I started this quest I was in wow mode a quest with cool melusines, then came the arc with Carole 😭😭😭 but the ending is magnificent proving that people have changed and that Carole's dream has come true

I love this story quest so much. I don't think I've ever felt this emotional over a quest like this. Also Sigewinne is just a normal Melusine, she isn't any half human, half Melusine or any special type of Melusine. It's probably just so Hoyoverse can make it easier for themselves to plaster Melusine "ears" on the small child model. Lorewise, Sigewinne is apparently the only Melusine(thus far) with human features according to a Melusine near Cafe Lucerne.

Currently at the part where Carole is getting bullied and Vautrin steps into defend her Based on the reaction I'm seeing, I'm betting she cheers when she gets to the part where Vautrin gets revenge lol Edit: Not quite a cheer, but more or less the reaction I expected lol

@@himetsukich Yea 😂 But since we know that Neuvilette can control the primordial seawater, I wouldn't mind if he kept a few vials on him and shoot droplets at someone as soon as they try to do anything harmful to Melusines 👀
