Oh, and there is so much JOY in the faces of the Choir while they are singing along. It's incredible. That's one thing I could only imagine from when it was merely a recording on the radio with no video when the song came out.

Here, Lou(lead singer) looked like the actor James McAvoy to me. I have loved Lou's voice since I was little. My mom raised us listening to these guys. You have to hear "Waiting for a girl like you".

I remember way back when part of the music industry was questioning whether or not Lou Gram really had what it took to be considered a real professional singer. They knew he could belt out his vocals well but they were skeptical regarding his ability to sing serious material......until he produced this song. It's timeless! Great reaction!

Thanks, I never thought of this song that way before, but that makes a lot of sense to me. I always wondered about the video's visuals at 1:52 of the guy carrying the drywall framing while walking on the edge of the building because drywall framing really isn't that heavy. LOL... But if you take that imagery as a very loose allusion to Jesus carrying the Cross (along with the lyrics at that moment), then the song's meaning as a guy searching for God's Love does become more evident. Lou Gramm also became a born again Christian around a decade later too, which re-enforces your point.

I love, love love your reaction. Especially right before 4min, when yes, he figured out love has finally found him, right before the flyers on the bus were handed out for the Choir to join the band. I heard and loved this song years before this video but this is a fantastic presentation of the feelings and the music and of course, Foreigner. Thank you :)

The incredible richness of this sound really carries this piece. I have loved it for years. Yeah, this made me love Foreigner for a very loong time. I’ve subscribed. I haven’t combed through what all you have listened to, but I have a couple of suggestions: Elvis Presley, Heartbreak Hotel (1st record I bought with my own money); then, for something light, happy, fun BTS, Dynamite (official MV).
